I want to cook fish. Seriously l am hoarding a bank full of salmon for the day l can throw an enormous barbeque for every khajiit in Tamriel.

This one would greatly prefer fish over rat.

This one does enjoy how rats flip in the air and squeak when she kills them.

This one is a picky eater. But this one also thinks that with enough moon sugar, even the common rat could be a delicacy.

If your going to go with the Rat theme, i suggest Rat Tofu, Rat & Cheese Pizza and Toffee Rat (favored by Discworld Dwarfs).

I propose that ZOS take the chance with their announced revamp of Provisioning to completely redo it allowing ingredients to be harvested in the world. Use the fish from Fishing, and meat from naturally-occurring level 1 beasts or even mobs in each area. I never understood why I can get leather (?!) from mudcrabs, but have to go through bags and crates to pick up their meat.

Plants would probably be a little trickier because that would mean adding quite a few new nodes, but surely they could work something out.

Incidentally, this change would tie in well with the Justice System, i.e. cooks would not have to rob innocent citizens of their food stashes.
