Don't you people get it? What happened at the end of Oblivion? What happened when you went to take on Molag Bal? Does it occur to you that perhaps there is more in common with the player character hero and Martin Septim? Don't you find it interesting that Meridia waited for you before launching an attack against Molag Bal? Don't you find it interesting that it is YOU that fights Molag Bal? Even more interesting these skyshards are a manifestation of Akatosh, upon the summoned effort of the Prophet. You use the Amulet of Kings. You. I'm going to argue that as the player, in that moment at that time you are in fact Dragonborn, and the only reason you don't die is that someone else does. Notice the Aedric weapons that you attack with? The Aedric fire?
Either way it is a fun fight and I quite enjoyed it.
mannimarco IS harder. ALOT harder. your AI companions cant tank whatsoever, so he only focuses on you. i had to hide behind pillars and keep moving around them so he would not cast any spells, and let lyris do all the damage.:/Was sweating when I was coming up to the fight with my nightblade - but fight was very easy - I never went below 80% health..... Ranged attacks, health leeching strife attacks, magnum *** to boost backwards and rolling... and fighters guild silver shards.. I agree Manimarco was harder.
...and those skellingtons guarding Mannimarco can go ride a bike through Tel Aviv wearing "I love Hamas" T-shirts...
you did not enjoy kicking the(cant say it) of a daedric lord?Molag bal was a joke compared to Manimarco, and an even bigger joke to what the storyline had played him up as. I went in today as a level 45 sorc 3epics pieces including a wep, and a mix of all greens/blues all light armor. 1 shot him without a problem, maybe 3min fight. My expectations was so much more, the fact that we were actually able to "defeat him" was very unsatisfying. i was hoping the story would turn in a way of maybe he pulls out something awesome and totally kicks our ass, to save an epic fight for another day.
On a positive note thou, i did rather enjoy the entire storyline, it did give a great sense of adventuring into hell kind of deal. just disappointed on how easy the ending was
