Good Faction for new player?

Popcorn_Chicken
I'm new to the game...and am looking for a faction that has a reasonable amount of players to chat with(Ask for game help or advice).

Mostly trying to avoid ghost towns.

Will Likely be starting out as a Khajiit or Argonion as those are my favorite races.

BtW, I have the option to start with any race in any faction...totally forgot about that.

From what I've seen all factions currently seem have decent populations in the Lvl 1-50 zones. I have chars in all factions, though the two alts I have in DC / AD are both still in the beginning areas. ;)

O.k was really curious as many online sources seem split over the games population.

Will probably be playing either tomorrow or early Monday...when my download is finished.

If you have a superiority complex - Aldmeri Dominion.
If you you are evil and like slavers - The Ebonheart Pact.

If you want to be a part of perfection - Daggerfall Covenant and that's not biased at all. ;)

I'll try them all at first..make 3 characters just for the hell of it.

I have a character in each faction, and I love each one of them (characters and factions).

They're all roughly the same in population- I've got alts on all three too. :) I think ultimately it comes down to what kind of regional flavor you prefer. For example, I started out in the Daggerfall Covenant, and while I still have a templar there, I ultimately decided to make my main an Ebonheart Nightblade because I enjoy the range of environment, from snow to swamp to the alien landscapes of Morrowind, and I really enjoy the lore.

Daggerfall Territories range from forests, to bogs, to desert. Aldmeri has forests and jungle for the most part.

So far I've found Ebonheart players to be nice and helpful in the leveling zones, but I've spent the most time there so I imagine all factions have good supportive folk! Trying all three out is a good idea.

Yeap agree with the post above , no faction got a population problem because of the mega server , in the end , it just fills up each region.

To me , fun wise ,

    AD > DC > EP.

Well, I'll make a character that starts in the Morrowind(Or equivalent) Faction, as I enjoyed ES3 over all of the ES games overall.

Ebonheart Pact then. Keep in mind that Vvardenfell is inaccesible, you can visit only parts of mainland Morrowind.

As for population, like everyone else said, it's a megaserver - so you'll find people everywhere.

I understand..it's just that Morrowind was my first & most enjoyable introduction into the ES series.

For me, that game was epic(And still is) on so many levels.

The other games in the series are nice...but I found that Morrowind had a perfect balance of graphics & gameplay.

they are all populated, but imo, AD has the best quests and areas.

DC was very boring early on imo, and in the very last zone, bangkorai. Maybe it's because bretons bore me to tears.

EP has an awesome story but is not as newbie friendly.
Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.
