Lorebook and journal bug?

Last week I completed the Mages Guild quest line which gave me the eidetic memory with regards to my journal. Last night I had a total of 230 books in my journal, and now I only have 222 books in my journal. What happened? Does the game not process new books or something like that? Because if it's a major and well known bug, I don't see the need at all to try and collect most of the books lying around.

Did you log-in with the character more than once after this incident to check if the last value was consistent. I've had a bug where I log-in to the character and all my characters was stripped, and asking support for the status of the account affirmed that nothing had changed and all characters was fine

Your lorebook library is unaffected by Eidetic Memory, because you always have access to lorebooks, regardless of how far along you are in the Mages Guild questline. Eidetic Memory, however, is completely screwed up.----
