I like my character's voice. I chose a silly voice on purpose so I have fun when she screams.
I forgot to choose the voice when I created my Khajiit, and while she looks like a delicate flower, she sounds like a male orc with bronchitis. I'm hoping desperately one day that we'll have options to re-change their voices, but, until then, a mute button would be appreciated. Her manly grunts and growls are still a little off-putting.

I agree with this, Even if we have to see a Mage in game and do a whole quest for it, Would be awesome.

IMO they've totally nailed beast race voices

My semi-tanky melee doesn't need to scream EVERY time he's hit; doing it to let me know of a crit or something is one thing. Or if he just made a sound to LET ME KNOW THERE'S SOMEONE BEHIND ME, and never mind the guys I can _see_ hitting me.
Jumping off a cliff? Yeah, OK, that makes sense. But not every time my guy swings a sword or gets a punch in the nose. Makes him sound like a damn sissy!

It's almost like some of your characters are doing something like this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCSF6DOXSIo
Weird if you would ask me...but you didn't so there's that :P
I'm saying MY 'toon doesn't need to whine like a lil grrl every time she jumps off a waist-high rock.smeeprocketnub19_ESO wrote: »isengrimb16_ESO wrote: »Yeah, that video above pretty much nails it.

you're saying you wouldn't scream if a duneripper was devouring your face? I don't think each successive face eating would numb me to the pain involved.
