This is so unfair, do you think if you voted Yes then the devs would start working on it?
Of course it is good, but I would like to see how it would be to be able to play in the same world with additional thrill.gamerredaveryub17_ESO wrote: »No because the game is good as is

No, I think I answered the poll question with my opinion. One of the reasons I chose this game was the separation of PvE and a PvP dedicated zone
That's also the reason the devs originally gave for not having world pvp, even if you had the option to flag your character. There was quite a bit of discussion during beta when players all pondered having world pvp. Most of us didn't mind it as long as we had the option to flag ourselves for non-pvp and that newbie zones and important NPC's (bankers, quest givers etc) could not be killed.
I think the new Justice system will satisfy player's bloodlust for quite some time. And this type of PvP I don't think will detract from the war in Cyrodiil. But anytime you introduce any type of world PvP event, you have to tread carefully so that it doesn't remove too many players from Cyrodiil.

I must have misunderstood your first answer then, because you said you voted No"not because I don't think there should be a choice (...)" - so I thought your opinion was the opposite from what you have actually voted for. My question was whether you would like to have the choice, and not whether developers should take all resources to creating the world PvP.

Thanks Tabbycat, I thought of something like this: at logon, you would choose - I play this session in the PvP realm. In other words everyone you meet is flagged for PvP, and they can't "unflag" themselves, not during that session. Then you could log off after a while and play in "classic" ESO too. There would be two parallel realms - classic and PvP.

I originally answered the question by relating to this game as it is (hence the developer resources part). If the game was still in development however my answer would be the same. I prefer to support a game developed around separate PvE and PvP like this game and Guild Wars 2, vs a game that has Open world PvP as an option. Hopefully that clarifies my answer better

Wouldn't that require substantial changes in how factions work at the moment?
In no area really other than Cyrodiil and perhaps CH (no idea tbh if Coldharbour is instanced to your faction only or not) do you come across players from other factions. So the only ones you could PvP against all day are those from your own faction, and that seems quite pointless to me. Unless of course you're a criminal, which is something the Justice System introduces?
