Well 50=v1
This is not fact, but I have noticed if you have higher tier material in a lower lvl area it will not wear down as fast, so I see it a plus to have v1 armour in 50 zone because it does not break as fast and 50 will break faster in v1 zone, still not sure if it is this way but I think there is something to it.

I've noticed this in betas, and kinda hoped there are just 4 tiers of looks JUST BECAUSE it was beta.
When the game launched, I was still pretty confident that they'll just add more looks in content patches... but oh well.

Well, those racial styles at least have 4 looks, those "rare" styles - ancient elf, daedric, primal and barbarian, only have 1 look, and even that one has bad textures (especially barbarian one, which looks like it was done in MS Paint and looks exactly the same for white, green and blue variant (at least for lvl 26 items)... didn't even care to spend more tempers to find out how purple and yellow looks like)..


so far (till dyes come out in a week or two) I'm most concerned about *** color combinations. For example, lvl 26 Altmer bow is SILVER with light brown wood. It's quiver, however, is DARK (almost reddish) BROWN with GOLDEN plating.. well, I have nothing against mix-matching, but that's just killing my fashion sense. Especially since you can do nothing about it..

What you mean is more of the female's breasts are on show in the lower level gear.

Tier 2(lvl 16) khajiit silver robe was looking better than anything you can get up to VR 8's RED&BLACK dunmer robe, and it wasn't even showing anything..

yeah this is extremely disapointing and needs to be fixed/improved on asap imo. even if vet 1-12 were all the same atleast make it unique to level 36..

I've been in the same armor skin since the Pre-teens. I actually kind of like it. but in this case I am referring to a disguise. Found one I liked on a quest and never took it off. The only time I see my real armor is during the login screen. And some of those heavy armor sets are so ugly I am glad I don't have to look at them while playing.

The only downside to a disguise is that every time you port or phase into a new area, your character goes through the motions of putting the disguise back on. But after seeing this same motion a hundred times I don't even hardly notice it any more.

It will not solve the whole problem but it's a really good idea .
