Who is your favorite hireling, and why?

For me it's a toss up between Valinka and Pacrooti... simply because their adventures are amusing and Pacrooti is hysterical without trying to be. Does everyone here read every hireling mail? I do... (I don't have hirelings on alts atm, just on my main).

Pacrooti hands down; if only for the following entry:

This one bought a horse that answers to commands. To make it stop, you shout "Sweet roll!". To make it go, you shout "Thank the Divines!". Pacrooti was riding and dozed off. When he awoke the horse was racing towards a cliff. Pacrooti shouted "Sweet roll!" and it stopped just in time. "Whew" Pacrooti said, "Thank the Divines!" Pacrooti had horsemeat for dinner.

lolll ya Pacrooti would make an awesome NPC follower. He cracks me up...Valinka though winds up in crazy situations and leaves off with "cliffhanger" emails to tell a story haha.... I really enjoy the hireling emails overall... they need to implement some sort of way to meet your hirelings and quest with them!

I have to say I was surprised at the little RP thing they got going. Funny, worrying....always good though. I was actually worried about one of the brothers on my clothing hirelings for a time.

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend you get the woodworking hireling, Pacrooti.. at least on an alt, just to see the funny emails.

LMFAO! Just the fact that he ambushed him and thinks it's equal to accepting the duel.... so funny. When I read his mails I envision this happening.... Valinka too.... Pacrooti is by far the overall funniest but Valinka winds up in these crazy adventures that you'd like to join her on after reading about it.

M'aiq the Liar is a long standing ES game character, but I think Pacrooti should make appearances too, Perhaps as a comic event connected with the new justice system?

The stories are great. Pacrooti is a hard act to follow.

I'd like my Provisioning hireling much better if I'd get the occasional food item. (I'm really starting to think she has a drinking problem.)

I only have the three (Smithing, Clothing and Enchanting) but it seems like I need to get Woodworking now too. I don't understand the love Valinka gets...she is by far my least favorite. It just seems her adventures with Plucky (really? Plucky?) is a little too "Golly gee willikers Mousketeer Club" to me. Like reading a comic from the 50's. Ugh no thanks.

Pacrooti definitely takes the cake!
He is by far the most hilarious and offensive one, constantly expressing his horror at the thought of taking a shower, showing snob Altmer his butt (or, showing them Jone and Jode, as he puts it), mugging fearsome, ''five clawed'' Breton kids for your components, waking up completely naked in a tavern after a night of heavy drinking only to freak out the tavern wench who thought he was a fur rug, and many more...
