Palomino Horse

I bought the Palomino Horse and I haven't seen a single other person riding one. I know 15 bucks for a digital horse is kind of insane but come on guys... Anyone else have one???

I've seen them. Not as common as the Imperial or dark brown ones, but they are in use.

Everyone just buys the Imperial Edition, especially in the US where the price difference is only $5. In Europe the Palomino is half the price of IE, so more people might decide to buy it, but still I've seen maybe 2-3 and I've been here since early access.

See a fair number of both palominos and Imperial whites, a number of the dark Brown ones and hardly any of the other horses...

I bought one the day they came out, simply because it's a palomino. Mr. Ed was a favourite childhood show. Hell, I wasn't even going to bother with horses, because they're such a pain in the tuckas in Skyrim.

I rarely actually ride it, though; it mostly represents extra bag space. I dismount every time Keen Eye picks something up, so I might as well run. I use it to get around the larger, more spread out cities, though.

I just wasn't interested in the white horse, mudcrab, or Imperials.

I haven't played with my Imperial character for a while but I did give her the Palomino.

I also prefer the Palomino but when I bought it my main already had invested money in storage space on the white horse so it didn't make sense to waste the gold on the Palomino.

I'd pay quite a bit more if I could buy a horse that was already maxed. I have a maxed out 42k speed horse on my main. I started an alt the other day and it is just painful riding a white horse with no speed boost.

Or, how about letting us trade mounts between characters. I don't want to spend 2 months leveling up another horse.

I use it on my alts, but my primary has one of the advanced horses. I also have the imperial edition, so I might use that on an alt too.

I see them around. But I cannot figure why anyone would spend $15 on this crappy mount when you can get the same one for 17.5k in-game gold. Only difference is the color, and I prefer the dark brown to the light tan myself.

If one is going to spend more real money, get the Imperial upgrade and be able to have a 'free' crappy horse, and the Imperial race, and the free Imperial crafting.

The $15 Palomino is probably the biggest rip-off cash store grab aimed at suckers that I have seen in an MMO. Z/B should be ashamed of themselves.

Now, if it were the high quality horse, that would be different.

Actually, the horse armour "expansion" for Oblivion, was it? That would have been the biggest rip-off, I think.

Some of us just prefer the Palomino look over the plain-jane horses in the stable, extra bonuses be damned.

The paint looks kind of nice, but I bet it's the silly stamina horse ...

I had no desire to play as an Imperial and would probably just have deleted a mudcrab pet, so I bought the Palomino. The whole concept stinks of P2W, so it made me feel a little dirty to buy it, but a horse is pretty necessary. Since the only thing I wanted from the IE was a horse, it made sense.

Not everyone is going to fret over $15. I enjoy this game enough that another $15 is nothing to me.

To not see one I have to look at the walls.
It is the single most common horse, simply because it is practically free (1 G is nothing). At least among those that have it unlocked.
If you see any horse before level 40 areas, you can bet your behind it is a Palomino.

Every single one of my 10 Characters on both severs has the white imperial horse.
Only for one I got enough money saved for the Draft Horse, so now I am using that one (much bigger inventory after upgrades).

I don't tend to use it for very short distances (the whole sit up animation takes it's tme).
Plus sometimes my character stays in combat a bit after all foes are down.

But otherwise I use it whenever possible.

I think you are a bit confused. The white horse that is everywhere is the one from the Imperial Edition. The tan Palomino horse is the one you have to pay $15 for in the Cash Shop. I see maybe one of those for every twenty to thirty white Imperial horses.
