Well built, fewer bugs, better uses for work, less chance of being hacked.
well built... lol You mean expensively built, impossible to upgrade at a reasonable cost, incompatible with almost everything. I don't know what you mean by better uses for work, windows is far better for most jobs, its far more versatile.
Mac exists for hipsters to pay out the nose and feel special about it.
I, too, run ESO on the iMac I purchased in June 2013. Its specs are:
1. 3.4GHz Intel Core i7
2. 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
3. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB
4. OS X 10.9.4
Most of the settings are at maximum and, aside from the occasional pop-in issues and occasional crashes, I've had no problems whatsoever with ESO on my iMac.

Mine is still experiencing a memory leak...it crashes every 2-3 hours on medium-low settings and every 20minutes - 1 hour in PvP. My build is pretty much identical to yours.
On a slight aside: Folks, PC or Mac, just leave each other alone. Use whatever system pleases you the most, and respect others' decisions regarding their chosen platforms. After all, it's not like their choice negatively affects your life.
I play on an iMac, and I also play on PS4/PS3. So what? Humanity fights enough among itself without needlessly adding "wars" like this to the mix. Good God Almighty.
Greetings folks,
For what it's worth, we heard that some people are running ESO on the old Mac-book AIR, and the game is running smoothly in medium/low graphics settings
However, we do not recommend doing so as it will most likely cause overheating issues on your machine, and can potentially damage it.

Why whould you even try to run it on a Mac? Just let that system die out in peace.
It's like owning a sportscar and a stationwagon.......and using the stationwagon.
The stationwagon works yes, but its slow clunky and nothing works right for it.
Macs are the Betamax of the computer world.
They may have better coding system and stuff but they arn't supported by anyone and should just admit defeat and stop wasting peoples time.

I can't set the graphics to blow-your-mind gorgeous but I'm good until the console drops. There, now y'all have two reasons to hate on me. I'm a Mac and a console gamer; big screen TV, comfortable chair and no mods.
