Yep you're definitely high...Brandeospeedwagon wrote: »Or you can try to play better. It's not like you don't have the population. I remember someone saying way back in this thread that Agrippa's group got slapped around on BT and instead of leaving they eventually became decent players (I'll take your word for it, tho I refuse to acknowledge your fengrush comment).Brandeospeedwagon wrote: »Dethroning EP seems kind of pointless as they'll just have a diff guy w/ former emp buffs by the morning. The three times that AD has gotten emp, blue and red seem to work together to dethrone that person. Yet when red gets emp, blue doesn't feel like letting yellow take it away. Same thing happens with yellow's home keeps. Red/Blue shows up to attack, yellow shows up to defend, Blue/Red shows up to help wipe yellow. That's as Purple as you can get...it feels like it's 2v1 the entire time we try to do anything.
So I'm pretty much done putting up with it and going to wait for 1.3 to drop before I PvP again.
Yup...which leaves AD to get their scrolls back, which will just get taken back that same morning as well...so there's really no point in AD trying to do anything unless we suddenly don't require sleep and can play 24 hours a day to stop the oceanic crew from doing their thing, as well as contend with both faction's A sqauds (Agrippa and Bitiken/Fengrush). That's literally the only way that AD can do anything in this campaign aside from setting up AP farms and ganking. At least that's what their options are in the current state of this campaign.
You can not refuse to acknowledge a higher power. Your denial is quite petty.
What Rylana said is true. AD has 3 groups or maybe even more that do not ever work together, and it seems that TKO is spent most of it's time playing hopscotch defending our keeps (when we have them), because we can't rely on any of the other groups doing that correctly. When we do finally decide to try and coordinate, it fails because one group bails out or doesn't follow through with the plan. AD definitely deserves to be at the bottom of this campaign. We have strong groups but it's too little too late at this point even if they do start working together.

As the leader of one of these other groups, I can say this is definitely the case. There's a lot of hate for TKO and their methods in the rest of the faction, and that makes people unwilling to work with them, which ruins coordination and causes infighting, because TKO makes up half of AD. We have the highest population and several good groups, but we're in third place and have often been the joke of the campaign because of these problems. I just hope things can work out before Update 3.
The real issue is guesting, not greed. Either commit to this campaign or stay out.
I think that is how it should work. You get a home campaign, and VERY limited guesting capabilities.

I honestly don't understand why there's hate for TKO. We do nothing but try and help the AD score and have, since day 1, attempted to have AD be not last.
Fengrush killed BDG already, TKO may be vulnerable to being killed as well.
Thanks to some really greedy people on DC we dethroned Zazeer - EP swarmed in as soon as the emp was dethroned - to throne a new one. AS PREDICTED. I just don't get why people refuse to think when it comes to campaign strategy.
Greed is a real killer.
Grats to the new EP emp - that zerg was just too large to fight back with 18 tonight. Had to be about 60 of you at Farragut - that grew at Arrius - and was even larger at Chalman - but we went to Arrius to get your momentum slowed - it worked - but by then we had too few - and most were tired of fighting 60 with 18 - even though we made over 70K after the zerg started throwing itself at us it's just very tiring to constantly fight that outnumbered.
I know the map will be red in the morning - and there will be a new EP emp. HEY DC - see the pattern?
Get a clue.

I love that.
You know the zerg had gone crazy when I haven't seen a glimpse of M'iaq in over a week. You might have been there, but there were a zillion I'd never seen so it just becomes a cloud of former emperors and, for AD, stunning numbers of low-level players with siege that melt like butter upon approach. It's disconcerting.

DC actually tried to cap emperor tonight, we stopped them at Alessia. it was actually close, they almost took the walls. Had they been able to, I am not sure we could have stopped them.

Yeah - hence greed is a bad thing. Since the emp is the same guy - there is ZERO reason for us to just re-throne him. However, once we have more than 3 of the imperial keeps - zone chat always looks the same. And reality is, it's always the same crew saying - let's go get emp. I don't have to name names here for the smart ones to figure out who is saying it. However, EP was at 2 bars and defending BRK for the most part until BRK was taken. Once it fell, bam pop locked and the map is likely all ready red all over. We fought them and made them earn every inch in both Farra and Arrius. However, after seeing their numbers at Arrius it was almost disheartening and most of my crew logged. By the time we held and cleared courtyard at Chalman - against well over 60 with 18 - we were down to 16 and went to Arrius to pull them off Chlaman.
The issue is, why continue crowning emperor's for EP? What is wrong with people that don't see EP is just using this massive zerg of oceanics' just to continue making more former emperors? Why do we continually dethrone these emperor's to continue allowing it to happen? Why can't people pull their head out of their proverbial backsides and stop being so damn stupid?

Skullcrusher is the AD stronghold, Bloodthorn is the DC one, though DC has I think three that have been all blue for a while.
Once the new campaigns go live, I dont see the guesting buffs being a particular issue as its going to be damn near impossible for one faction to actually dominate in a high pop environment.
The only reason Volendrung, Skullcrusher, and Bloodthorn are the way they are is because the other two factions have no presence whatsoever.
