Nine out of ten times, calls for going against world bosses tend to get ignored, have people completely stopped caring? Or is it just that everyone turns off general chat for "immersion"?

✭✭✭Since the Vet content was nerfed, my girlfriend and I went and duo'd all the bosses; even those that were several Vet ranks higher than us.
We still kill them sometimes just while adventuring around for fun, but we don't bother finding groups because there is no need to anymore.

Innocente✭✭✭✭Since the huge loot nerf, I only do them to clear the map. I just hang around until one other person shows up, then burn them down. Faster with another person than trying to beat them down alone.

Yeah, I did that one pre nerf and I can imagine it will remain impossible for most of us to solo as there is just so many adds. I don't AOE, but rune cage plus lots of kiting from range mean I can normally handle up to three, providing they arent all beastly.
You've reminded me, I need to go back and tackle that Balefire Island boss. I owe that guy

Navuri✭✭✭So, have we as players become to strong / good or is the game not that challenging to begin with? I'm a casual gamer and I'm actually not having any trouble at all wading through the massive world of Tamriel. I actually would like it if things were a bit harder.4

rbenkepub19_ESO✭✭✭10 out of 10 times, I have never failed to get a group together, or be invited to one, for a world boss. (VR6 here.) No idea where this complaint is coming from. Sure, it may not be instant, but a group always comes to together, even if I don't try at all and just stand there long enough.6

It's a combo of both I'd say though it's different from 1-50 and VR.
on 1-50 its easier mostly because you generally see at least one other person waiting for the spawn to kill them so you can duo so individually you don't need to change tactics. on VR though since there aren't many players and most people are for the most part doing their own thing you need to swap skills here and there depending on several factors.
1. Is the boss CC'able
2. Is the boss range or melee
3. is there more than one (and how many)
4. Whats the radius of the fight ( some bosses reset easier so you plan to kite you need to do in a tight circle)
5. Does the boss have any special abilities (that one you learn the hard way)1 -
They're fun to do a couple times, but they don't drop anything worth while after the first time.3

I responded to one call a couple of days ago and the person who made the request was no where to be found. Ironically, a different person came by while I was there and asked for help so I gave it to them.
Most Bosses I have encountered I can do Solo, even a few weeks ago. However some bosses are just insane to battle solo.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Zebug✭✭✭yea if it is just one mob...just solo it either with cc or kite, if more than one then you can usually find a group easier because those guys are tougher to solo.0

✭There's no reason to do them once you've cleared the map. That's all they're good for is map completion. Now if they had unique item sets, skins, rare vanity items or trophies, or items needed for crafting then they'd be worth doing.
The screwed up with the world bosses though, they should have been random spawns located throughout the map, perhaps attacking a town randomly, give them something more than a static location.

Mortuum✭✭✭✭I am soloing all WB's, dolmens and public dungeons on my Templar while doing VR zones, but I dont mind to help others who cant do it. If I see anyone asking for help, will just PM person saying ''ill be there in 5 min just wait''.
Point is, use zone chat more often really. People go AFK from time to time, nothing wrong with asking twice.2 -
Also...too many times you will see the call, head that way....and they've killed it with someone else that showed up 30sec before you. So you learn to not bother.5

Surragard✭✭✭✭Unlike dark anchors, people won't usually travel across the map to come do a World Boss. However, if you hang around near one people will usually stop and you can get an impromptu group going. There have been times where no one was around and I had to come back later (or it hadn't respawned yet) but I have always been able to find a few people and get them done. Like I said I don't know if you'll ever get people to travel across the map for a world boss but if you have some patience and hang around you should be able to get someone already in the area to stop by and help out. I don't know when you play but you might want to try playing at a busier time (if that's possible) in the event you're playing at a time when server pop is low. Hope that helps! With that said I play DC on the NA server and have a toon with this account name so add me and I'll come by and help you kill one if you need a hand.I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club. Not at level they're not. Some of those world bosses are three 2-star level bosses in the same place, like a super Troll and two super stranglers. I'm sorry, I'm all for boasting, but at least be believable.
I just saw a VR9 take out a level 20 Dolmen solo. Yeah, that was certainly "heroic." I've soloed low level things, too. But where's the fun?
