Would you like to have something like Jobs in game

    Yes
All of these things are already possible. I am a trader in game, I make stuff and sell it. I will be an assassin and thief when the justice system comes out. There will also be guards then.

If I want to be emperor (king) I can earn it in cyrodiil (or join an unscrupulous guild)

When I am saying Trading is not that selling that you loot. Trading is more about selling good between cities. More far you go more and better reward you will get. You can hire more people to carry good, donkeys or horses. If you want to make worth journey so you have to take a lot goods otherwise it will be are very small reward. So you can go on road and is safer from monsters but is not safer from thieves. On journey time by times thieves respawn near to you caravan to try to take goods. More profitable you caravan more dangerous thieves spawn so in this cases you can hire guards or players. Also remember thieves also can be and players and he can attack you. So this is that I call trading. Also in cities you hear some announcement that some other cities need some type items (but you will sell this items for high prices because is important demand). For future, if game will have fortress where players can build in some places as you trader you can to alliance to get stuff. Other alliance will try steal from you or will try to disturb to build fortress, so also you will get help and from alliance. You can do a lot thing as trader ;-)

I know justice system, but is not that. Thief is freedom for stealing and sneaking as side missions. You have task like infiltrate in stronghold and steal important item. Or another task is sneak and try to get information from NPC conversation, take some evidence or something else. Is more about task which it gives to you to do. Where can you progress and have something similar to rank. In progression you probably can get some benefits. Thieves can improve bonus to unlocking chest (extend time, lock-pickers are more hard to brake, get chance to success). Assassins jobs is to eliminate target. It can more ways how to eliminate target (waiting right time, trying to collect more evidence to make sure that is a right target, trying to make sabotage in that area by collecting evidence and so on). Assassins should get bonuses in sneaking and poisoning arrows or darts. Traders can have bonus to selling and buying items. So is your chose to do jobs, if don't like it so you can skip these thing, or maybe you find something interesting and you would like to try ;-)

Here it was just example so I think most of you also can write some examples. It will be nice to hear ;-).

I already have a job, it's called "The Chosin One" or "Savior of Tamriel" or whatever they're calling me.

Well good that you have. You can have it and do all the time same. For me I don't see nothing interesting for my gameplay style. Here just simple missions ;-).

I wouldn't mind if the jobs were something like the original fable or even wildstar something you could do that was repeatable and could make you a little gold or exp. This would be good for starter characters or provide a change of pace from the usual hack and slash quests.

Sometimes there seems to be a disconnect between the player and the npc world. You interact with an npc complete their quest and move on never to interact again. I am not an RP, but I would like to be involved a little more such as doing jobs in a town would improve the economy nicer buildings, more traders, more npcs. I can't stand the quests where the town is in shambles you complete the quest drive out the bad guys and the town is still a piece of crap. You'd figure with this many want-a-be heroes running around saving the world the towns could at least afford a coat of paint.

I may have gotten a little off topic and I am not saying I want to see a roller coaster theme park outside Riften, but I have a few towns I really like and use exclusively so if they introduce jobs that would benefit my favorite cities I would be all for it.

Especially in Cyrodiil, where instead of just doing scout quests you can actually be a scout with more abilities in the alliance war.

I could also go for what this probably meant: being a merchant or something of that matter. Being a hero and being a bad guy are pretty much the to things you can pick from in most decision making rpgs. Why not have the chance to settle down, get a job, start a family? It adds an aspect of realism you can choose as an alternative to simply kill bad guys or kill good guys. This also helps in attracting a larger audience, one that would buy a Sims game and still like a side aspect of being famous or infamous.

As a minigame jobs could be fun. Patrolling a road as a guard, working a busy tavern, going on a fishing expedition, cataloging texts/scrolls in the mages guild library.

They'd basically just be fun little repeatable quests though. Hopefully for a fun title and a little bit of coin

I think it sounds great - as long as all of it is 'optional' for other people.

These 'jobs' are just different ways of earning coin other than questing, grinding, or camping the guild stores.

More options is usually a good thing.
