I remember it because I found it rather strange that a maxed out Class skill gives a shorter invisibility duration than a level 10 crafted Alchemy potion.
At least Cloak can be chain cast.

Yup. I never bothered with the potions anyway though. Two or three casts of Shadow Cloak is exponentially better than 1 potion and an obnoxiously long cooldown.

Alchemy was the first crafting I maxed to 50. Potions have great benefits for Nightblade, since even one of our passives benefit them.
Mix Blue Entoloma + Namira's Rot + Blessed Thistle
get a potion that gives 3 seconds invisibility and 39% move speed for 10 seconds
use that first, then chain Cloak afterward
high speed invisible escape
Potion mix has the same effect whether mixed with a level 10 water or a v5 water, so it works even at low Alchemy spec.

Yeah I could see the advantage in that. Unfortunately, I find the potion mechanics (more specifically the quickslot system) horrible. I keep stamina pots as default, healing one slot left, and power/crit pots one slot right. That's about the max that I can keep track of by relying on the sounds to keep track of where they are. I just hate taking my eyes off the action to look at the whole Quickslot Wheel.
But I digress, since I'm going off topic.

I use

to hotkey my potions to F1-F6
then have macros on my Naga set to F1+Q, F2+Q and so forth.
Great for streamlining, before we pop back on topic
