What is going on with stealth?

This has happened to me several times now:
Wide open field. I'm in stealth, enemy is not. I get my Surprise Attack off. Enemy is stunned. I hit him with Wrecking Blow. He is not a Night Blade, so he has no Dark Cloak. Enemy goes into stealth. Never comes out. Permanent stealth. I am stuck in combat and can't stealth. I can spam Dark Cloak, but that's not the same thing. Anyone else experiencing this?

✭✭✭As far as I have been able to discern, attacking puts players into combat in PvP but being attacked does not (or, at least, does not always).
So the person you attacked did not get put into combat, and got out of your detection range in sneak.

Saet✭✭✭yeah its annoying being stuck in combat for a long time after you have popped dark cloak and moved away from the other player. It does sound like the above posters said though and they popped an invis potion and then snuck away. I'm not clear whether or not you are visible to everyone or just that one player in that case. It does seem like its for everyone though.Saet - stam nb

✭In PVP if your a non NB, always carry a few Invisibility potions to bug out NB that attacks you. Its been that way for a long time. Get the ones that Increase Movement Speed and Vanish (Invis)
If you want to make them yourself (Blessed Thistle,Blue Entoloma and Namira’s Rot)
Once invis, if you think you can take them, then go for it, or just walk away.Edited by Natjur on July 21, 2014 6:51PM0
