I've said this once and I'll say it again, when you post "regular maintenance' the majority take that as 1-2 hours. We're sitting on more than 3 hours now. Please update us on how long it'll take, the team has got to have at least a decent guestimation lol guess+estimation. Thanks

I guess I have too much time in on various MMOs. Patch/Maintenance days have always been considered a wash. Maybe that is because of doing raids and such that required mods in place too, but expecting maintenance to just be 2 hours, seems a bit unrealistic. It would seem better to wait a little bit longer than to do a rush job...I guess that is likely axiomatic.NA MegaServer

My guess would be this allows them to do better time boxing. Assuming they are putting out features individually, by not putting out patch notes until afterwards, they can a la carte include and test the important pieces without forcing the maintenance time to run over the allotted 3 hours to get in the little things that are lower priority to them.

Mountain_Dewed✭✭✭I'm curious what the devs do between the time(15-50 minutes) our client updates to the time they open up the mega server? It's no big deal, I'm just curious to learn if they are running a few last tests or do they have to let the radiator cool down before they kick it and fire it back up?

You stated you didn't know there was maintenance going on today, someone refers you to the red box at the top of every page, you said you didn't see anything about the maintenance there, just "The North American Server is now offline". wth are you talking about! I knew maintenance was today since yesterday. All i was suggesting is to give us a better time frame on when it'll be done.

Thanks for the update. Is there a way that y'all might be able to add something like a short message if maintenance takes longer than usual on the little pop up screen? An extra couple mins to add a message like that could go a long way to showing the players/customers that you are putting in the extra effort to keep us happy. Even an update on the forums would be ok too, where we can come to check on what might be happening if it's taking longer than usual or if there is a major problem that could hold us up for a long time.
