New Adventure Zone Preview, Justice System, Champion System

    I watched and still dont fully understand what the new champion system is. He was not clear (or i overlooked) how u earn championship points so i am on the fence on these changes.

    For better or worse the justice system is really going to mix things up. Has the potential to be epic or an epic failure but it sure won't be boring.

    I learned about a lil of the champion system from elder scrolls off the record + the video.


    The champion system will be "replacing" Veteran Ranks. I don't believe there are actual level increases like we currently have VR1-12. Its more a point system that you spend on incremental points towards small improvements towards your character.

    You gain champion points after level 50 by anything that would typically grant you XP 1-50. All champion points are accumulated account wide so a new character you make has access to full amount of accumulated champion points........BUT my understanding its NOT till level 50+, so level 1 your not spending 20 champion points.

    Think I covered all the points they did.

    I actually like the new Champion system. It's very similar to Skyrim's point allocation system. However I'm not completely sold on it being account wide. I think I'd rather it be character limited.

    yeah it is earn a point one one character and you can use it on any other characters you have

    oh you mean you would have to sacrifice points on your main then? Well that's not too bad. I could be leveling up my alts using my main once she is maxed on points.

    ONCE said character reach level 50, then you can spend the champion points in your account, this will make leveling alts far more easy and less grindy, and to my understanding there will be a cap of let's say (just example) 50 champion points that you can earn in that account and then you will be able to use them all once on every char you have on that account that is lvl 50

    Yea that "once your level 50" thing was briefly almost unintentionally said during the off the record interview I WISH they would have emphasized more during the interview and at Quakecom..........though ZOS is known for its terrible communication.

    Champion system seems interesting, adventure zone preview was.. pretty but beyond that pointless and the justice system may potentially break the game if implemented incorrectly. Don't get me wrong, I'm keen for it, but if all NPCs can be killed and whatnot you're in for chaos! Lastly levelling provisioning is going to get extremely hard it seems, hopefully they fix that somehow.

    This SOUNDS bad but I think you will find it harder to wreak havoc and chaos. They are working on the system with full knowledge that if there is a way to abuse the system somebody will so they are already attempting to prevent that stuff from happening. So we will see.
