New Armor Question

I am not sure if anyone can answer, but with the new armor like glass, is that something that can be crafted in different styles? Like deadric Glass? Or are they jsut drops in a set style? I didn't hear anything either way, perhaps someone else did.
I saw the imperial deadric...again it showed light med and heavy so I am pretty sure this is a set style piece that can not be crafted (unless it is a new motif)...hopefully someone can shed some insight to this...

✭✭To be honest neither way makes sense. Glass as a material, like daedric glass or orc glass? Or glass as a style, like steel glass or cotton glass?
Maybe I'm just too used to TES.0 -
Elad13✭✭✭NOt really sure I made glass armor in other ES games but i am not sure there was a different style i could craft it in.....and glass was a material....so still not sure...either way i am looking forward to more creative armors and some of the weapons looked awesome as well.0

✭✭✭✭✭"Glass" in the elder scrolls is a unique material. It isnt the brittle, hard glass you typically think of when the word comes to mind (like windows and such), it's a malleable crystalline substance with traits more similar to a metal alloy.
My best guess is that "Glass armor" will be included under a new motif (probably racial motifs 15: Glass), and will require a motif stone (probably just labelled 'glass' as well) to craft. Thus, the actual material used to make the gear will be just like any other motif set - iron, steel, etc.

Elad13✭✭✭Ahh so no daedric glass....bummer in a way...but still happy to see it. I think it was morriwind where I had glass armor with all invisibility runes and I was 100% invisible all the time....it made stealing like super easy...haha.0
