And why do people have more than one crafter char? There are more than enough skillpoints in the game to do it all on one char. Unless it's a personal preference?
With multiple crafter characters, you can distribute the inventory load.
I would add to use an add on like datadaedra. I've used that add for about two weeks and made over 50 thousand gold by selling items to players I normally would of trashed. Stuff like pepper(250 gold), rare traits like training or precise on staffs. I can sell those for a few hundred bucks easy and that's under market value. Right now my biggest sell is selling unrefined mats. I have a guy who give me 15 per mat. It ends up being around 1600 gold per stack and I can go and get a stack in 20 minutes farming nodes.
Also I level enchanting and make a ton of money selling my glyphs. Like the other day made a green fire resist, sold it in one of my guild stores for 1500 gold. It only cost me 200 gold to make.
Any one of the OP's suggestions will help out newer players a lot.
Another area with the potential of making a lot of gold is in PVP. Alliance Points sell at a ratio of 3:1. That's 3 gold for 1 AP. Build up AP and sell it when you have 150k-250k and make a killing. People will always want PVP weapons and may not have the time to farm for AP giving you the perfect opportunity to cash in.
