How are you going to feel when it goes FTP within a year?

The dog is a little more iffy to me. It doesn't seem wise to lock your existing player base out from a cool new (practical) pet, but I'm still not gonna lose much sleep over it.

Let's make the lights prettier. Classes have broken skills. Irrelevant. Let's fill the containers with crap that can't be deconstructed or sold. We just made the coolest pet. Let's give it away to new customers. What about the old customers? Who cares. We have their money already."

Pretty much all of this. The sense of entitlement found in the modern mind is almost as staggering as its reactions to perceived slights.Ruscthelion wrote: »To anyone at ZOS that might be reading this thread:
The excuse that you "don't have the tools" to give existing players the wolfhound sounds like a load of crap to anyone in development, indeed anyone that's had moderate exposure to a database. We know that the ROI is too low, and the real answer is that it's not worth your time.
I get it.
I am NOT offended.
I know that telling the truth would unleash a torrent of tears that would drive the mods of these forums to drink (assuming they don't have alcohol poisoning already), but the marketing pablum that normally gets handed out in these situations is what I find distasteful. Do as you will, but please do not cave into every player demand or spend extra time worrying about people complaining that someone else's pixels aren't as fancy as those belonging to another person.

I tend to buy things on impulse and what I meant to say was that I and others like me who buy things right away should take this as a lesson to wait a while and not grab things as soon as they are available. Apologies.
