I just bought a level 10 BLUE recipe from a player COD. When he put it in chat it pop-upped as L10 BLUE recipe . When I read COD mail on my L8 character it read L10 BLUE recipe.
But when I accepted the COD mail on my Vr1 character it changed the recipe to L40 and now I can't find any L10 BLUE recipe in my GUI while at the cooking fire.
Unfortunately I deleted the mail after taking the attachment and don't have a copy of the recipe name. It was one of "Enriched Bear Hash" or "Invigorated Bear Soup".
Have those recipes been removed from the game and the game is now converting them to something else without telling us beforehand??
That is a very serious issue if someone can still sell one to a player and not knowing it is going to get converted.
Did I miss a patch note saying the game was going to start doing this?? Or can this be a one-off issue before I bug it in-game and to customer support?

SpAEkus✭✭✭✭Yeah checked and double checked. Also I had been keeping track of all recipes Ive learned on a spreadsheet before i bought the L10 recipe.0

SpAEkus✭✭✭✭Yes possible always but I am almost certain I rolled over it in the Mail queue before accepting it.
At this point it's probably unrecoverable and not worth that much GM time.
Is the consensus that this "can't" happen or has actually happened as a bug before?0 -

I don't think I have found a blue lvl 10 recipe I always level to quickly past them. The bear food is definitely a lower level recipe so if the one you received was a bear dish then it was a lower level recipe.
It sounds like a bug that the recipe is being converted because it is being picked up by a higher level toon. Sort of like the old issue with the containers from hirelings and getting it on a lower character but opening it with a higher level character for higher level contents.

Isibis✭✭✭Checked my recipes, Bear meat is used in lvl 20 recipes. Don't think there is such a thing as lvl 10 Blues. But how did you see the recipe's level before using it?0

And I rolled over it from both in chat-link when they offered it and roll-over on attachment in COD mail.

not sure how you saw the level before buying it
i dont belive it say so anywhere on a mouseover or by clicking the link in chat
unless they have added this in a recent patch

SpAEkus✭✭✭✭I just checked all rollovers and accept that I could only have seen the "Level" number of "10".
I did check the recipe "name" against the list as far as I can tell. But If I got the "Level" wrong then maybe I got the other part wrong as well.
I haven't /bugged it yet so looks like it is Operator error until I find another "Character Level 10 - Blue" recipe to buy from someone.
From now on I'll only specify the Recipe "name" that I am asking for and save any confusion.0
