Have you seen the steam forums...sigh..

I have never seen such a torrent of hate as I have just seen on the steam forums. I don't know why I feel the need to protect the game from complete *** but I seem to try. I hope this inclusion on steam doesn't have an adverse effect on the game that we mostly love.

They only have themselves to blame with this one, if the game was meant to be released on steam it should have happened from the start.

Steam has very little moderation. You'll basically get the same quality of intelligence as you would in the comments sections on YouTube.

A dog. All this rabid attacking over a dog. Which they'll end up dismissing. Or forgetting about.

HOW ABOUT they give us a dog, one time only, and we have to feed, water, exercise, regulate temperatures, entertain and not lose?

Won't like it so much then.

Yeah, I wasted a little effort too, but don't feel too bad. The Steam forums are like that for most games. Muck pits.

Well you have to pay to complain on these forums, so what do you expect from steam.
All those who no longer sub can no longer post here and thus complain on the free and open forum on steam.
Getting up set about people bashing a game you like is absolute nonsense, maybe read the news and get upset about something real.

Funny how people people bought the game only to write negative comments. How can they really be that dumb? (I am talking about "reviews" now, not forum)

I'm sure you see classes half empty all the time. So going to steam is measure of failure. I see it has great potential for more sales as many people use that as their game library and place to find and buy games. I know I do. And if I see some game in shop I'll go check if I can buy it through steam.

I was reading a little bit yesterday and its clear the most of people hates the game. It use to happens with every mmo as you all say. Anyway, my main problem is that this is about Elder Scrolls brand and TES are my fav games by far. I hope this does not make the SP games to suffer.

You would get loads of negative post on steam just because it is a subscription game. Then they actually made people buy it too. That is enough to throw most steam user right into a fit of rage.

Every person's a critic, especially when no one sees their face. Most of them are writing about the game because they play it. They complain about it, then they go and play it some more. That's the internet.

There we go again, plenty of people dislike the game and express their opinions which happen to differ to yours so that must mean that they are irrational 12 year old's. The maturity of you statement is lacking.

    Hmm. Young generation perhaps?

I'm thinking here of telephones, where you must buy a phone and then pay for monthly service. Hell, I remember when telephones could only be rented through your telco monopoly (Bell Canada, in my case) - it was revolutionary when they offered me a telephone to buy, that I could pay for on my monthly bill (a basic touch-tone phone, in 1994 or 5 I think, cost me $120, plus whatever Bell's interest was.) I still have a landline (with a much better monopoly) that is bundled with my internet; I have a $15 phone that I wound up hating and wish would die quickly.

But .. when it came time to break down and get a cell phone .. I brought a bunch of money with me, earmarked for throwing at a cell phone company. They signed me up with a reasonable plan, and GAVE me a cell phone .. and then didn't want money up front. I was quite confused.

I guess I'm old enough to be used to people squeezing me.

Seems a pretty mixed bag of comments. It's not like Zenimax aren't continually handing critics ammunition to fire back at them so there's bound to be negativity. There's lots of positives also.

And a lot of it is opinion that can be taken either way.
