They have the dog, I can create a character of any race in any alliance.

    Nope, not unless the Steam package includes the Explorer's Pack or ZOS make that feature no longer exclusive to the Pack.

    They don't pre-order eso, so they don't have free alliance - race choice.

    You can still get that bonus if you find a physical edition of the game from launch, the same can't be said for the dog.

    They can too sweetheart. The only thing different is they get the dog with the Imperial edition which also allows then to create any race on any alliance. :|

    Your gloating is misplaced due to your ignorance .. the 'any race any faction' feature is NOT in the Imperial Edition it's part of the Explorer's Pack.

    Yeah, I like the freedom to create any race anywhere.
    Not too bothered about the steam issue, I don't really use steam for any of the features we can't get. I know we can add ESO to the Non-Steam games part, but still don't care.

    I completely agree, there is no way people can buy the pack from anywhere right now.

    Personally I think everyone should have access to all of these options via their store. You would just have the advantage of receiving the play any race free because of your pre-order. Steam users would have their dog free and not need to pay.
