Firefall just had the option added, all you do is get a steam version from their site, and you just log in with your previously non-steam account, and it locks to your steam account... and it's steam from then on...
A F2P game can do this, yet ZOS cannot?
really?
where the hell is that option?
Other: utility pet... Maybe a pet that loots for you... A pack guar that carries items... A pet that digs up treasure periodically... One than can alert u to hidden players nearby..

If you are not a beta tester or have bought early access you can only get as far as the account log in page.

Edit: just noticed the game is already on steam it seems. So there must be a way to download that client and log in for people who want it on steam.

It is on Steam, but if you already have the game you miss out on a lot of Steam's functionality - you can put it into your library as a non-Steam game, but there's a lot missing. This thread explains a lot more of that if you're interested: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/120486/on-the-value-of-steam-keys/p1
People used to believe in being "loyal" without being bribed. I don't need freebies to keep me happy. I enjoy the game and the hard work they put into it. if you need some kind of "Loyalty reward" you aren't really that loyal to start with.

Being loyal used to be a two way street. Now we're expected to be loyal while the hand grabs at us for every penny and dime.
