Just got told certain people will never invite me to trials because of the race i chose.
Thoughts? given the meager benefits from racials I never really thought about it as being that big of a deal.

✭✭Well I would never care about what race you've chosen for any class, that's part of the point of RPGs (ESO is an MMORPG), and if people are caring, then they shouldn't.
It's how you play that counts, and I only know of one way to find that out.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

A few groups will likely not invite you due to the race you chose but look at that as a good thing. Do you want to play with those players who much have everything min/maxed to the extreme and likely suck the joy out of the game?
95% of trails group will invite you if your an Orc Sorcerer if you can still pull your dps weight.
5% of trial groups will only have the best of the best of the best classes/race combos with all classes having to abide by the best dps rotation and gear sets. Overall I would avoid these trial groups.
IMO as long as everyone can pull their required DPS on boss fights and not cause undue stress to the healers by taking avoidable damage then the how is left up to the players. Most trail groups will likely follow the same principals.1 -
Tamanous✭✭✭✭✭It is less to do about race than what build you have. Because Orc racials do not benefit the light armor/staff requirement most want in trials they will think you are inferior. Truth is there is little to no difference as everyone is likely hitting soft caps anyway.
The main issue is that many players will want to play an Orc to their strengths and that isn't light armor/ staff. Currently the only min/max is with the use of stamina based charge abilities which means you are at least a Stamina hybrid build which they frown upon.
We simply have to wait for the ongoing Stamina build buffs and see if finally, some day, a stamina build of any kind will be accepted by the min/max masses.0
