Veteran Rank 12. What now?

I've been VR12 for a week. I'm not interested in dungeons or trials for the time being, but I'd put off doing any sort of pvp until max level. So I find myself in Cyrodiil almost constantly these days, and am surprised to find that I am having a blast. I finally get the people who say that pvp is their end game and expect this to keep me occupied for a while. If it gets slow, I level my templar alt or go achievement hunting.

I still feel like I have plenty to do.

I have a V12 sorc for trials but to be honest I haven't been in to many trials.

I have a V10 NB that I didn't take to Carg because I wanted to get those last few levels in Cyrodil so that I would be gaining something from PvP (because you don't earm much gold from it)

I have another NB at level 25 because the NB if my favourite class and I want to have 2 maxed to I can do some direct comparisons whithout having to respect all the time. E.G armor types, morphs etc

I have a level 32 DK because I wanted to roll at least one of each armor type and DK's seem to be the most natural tank. I'm loving the playstyle and am considering doing the same as I am with the NB and rolling another one for comparisons.

I will eventually roll a Templar just to round off the classes

So that's probably going to put me into next year. before I even have to think about end game.

Plenty of skyshards to be had and skill points by finishing off quest lines.

I only grinded through the veteran ranks. But yeah you got a point.

So you bypassed the content by exploiting and now your are complaining that there's no content???
That's not what he said, at all.

Did you deliberately mis-read it or do you genuinely have a reading comprehension problem?

He bypassed no content he simply played HIS WAY, you know, just like the TES fans prattle on about ad nauseum "play the way you want to".

why people "grind" in these games is such a mystery to me. I'm VR10, and going way too fast already. But I have yet to join a "grind" group in craglorn (puke). ok, I joined one by accident just to check out the area...I couldn't believe what people were doing...quit after killing the same boss 3 times.

I'm guessing people approach MMO's like other games. Beat the final boss. Since there is no final boss, they just think the maximum level is the final boss. It's not. Enjoy the journey. I'm doing a ton of Cyrodiil now that I'm VR10...and I hold my own just fine, plus, the PvP'ing does give you some VR experience.

It's an MMO. Make your own fun. If the only thing fun to you is gaining levels, then you'd be bored with any MMO.

    Some ideas:

I had a guildie that did this. Mixed in a tiny bit of RP with his begging, and he made 20k in a week.

I agree with making your own fun. An mmo doesn't have to be a treadmill.

Begging is still begging even if its RP begging. Not acceptable. I would have reported him.

You're putting yourself in a weak and hypocritical position to say 'I ignored the tone, atmosphere, and story of the content by grinding through it. Now where is more content?'

Game's still new. You should have taken your time. You can play in Cyrodiil in the meantime. That's pretty much the main 'renewable' content these days.

Crag grinding is 20x faster than questing. It's weird cause I actually had a fun time doing it... I talked with my groups a lot. Either way I can just go back and do the quests if I want. But I'm finally v12 :D guess it's time to do some Cyrodill. ( I've been putting off pvp until max level. )

yeah, my bad, I should have said "grind and complain of boredom"...you obviously found it to be fun, and find VR12 to be fun, so Craglorn was perfect for you.

Well I've grinded my way to the max level. Other than Cyrodill and trials what is there to do?

Edit: let me be clear. I only grinded my way through the veteran ranks. I did that because crag grinding is 20x faster than questing.

For many of us, Cyrodiil is what this game is all about. If leveling via PVP weren't so slow, I'd bring each character there at level 10 and never leave, skip all the PVE content.

ok, if you understand that much that only makes your view of OP´s "grinding to vet 12" = exploiting even more mindblowing.
And for real, the only cheating that took place at that time was when Z-Max let people do this for more then a full week giving each and every one that participated in the trains literally thousands of epics! then they decide to take it away and letting all keep what they got.
The ones that got cheated are all those that never was high enough lvl to participate themselves. But me and lots of people in the game thank Z-Max dearly for the free legendary armors and weapons tho. They are shiny.

No, they changed the content because they didn't like how it was being utilized. Happens all the time in this and every other MMO.

Exploits are using BUGS and BROKEN mechanics to cheat. There's a difference.

Farming anomalies was never an exploit.

I know exactly what you mean. Its so boring each zone is like a rollercoaster through a prison block. and it just keeps going, the game never open up at any point.
