I just hit V1 and I'm not gaining any exp?

I just hit level 50/V1 and I'm not gaining any experience towards my next level. Is it because I'm still in Coldharbor (Still doing level 46/47 quests)?
If so it seems like such a waste of experience

The levels up to now have required one 10th of the exp needed to go from v1 to v2. You are still gaining VP but you need 10 times more so the bar moves very slowly. Its also VP not XP so if you are using an addon that only counts xp it may be giving you nothing but when you hand a quest in your bar will flash even if it doesnt seem to move very far

Yep. Won't gain VR experiance unless in VR zone or dungeon. The exp will still count for your skill lines tho, so there is that.

Quest XP will still count towards veteran levels and mobs (46 +) will still give you xp for your skill, but mob kills will not give you veteran rank XP until you are killing Veteran rank mobs.

You're gaining normal exp and veteran points. The normal EXP is still needed when leveling up skills. Vr points are for VR rank only. You'll still get EXP when you are vr12.

Well to be honest it's not much different when killing Vet mobs at VR1 you will get about 100-110 VP per kill and concidering you need 480000+ to vet level 2 it dont get any better.

Dyes are in the next patch. The champion system is at least a month away and probably closer to 2 months.

It's up to you but I decided to stop and made a new character in another faction. I figured if I'm going to play through another faction I might as well start over. Right.

On the plus side, turning in quests will give you veteran points...and I think achievements do, too. You just won't get VP from fighting, opening treasure chests, or discovering new locations.

It depends if you want to get ahead or not. If you level VR levels now you will get credit for those in champion points you can use to buy passives. If you don't care about that I wouldn't bother with doing the VR stuff.

Cyrodiil will also give you VP
