Hi imma grasshopper,
I pve, pvp, craft and even sometimes roleplaying with my friends.

As of right now you can use equilibrium along with any of the poison potion you can make from alchemy to kill your character. The guild i am apart of uses this trick to die in populated hubs to get the community on some little skits, murder mysteries, and even plays.

What i fear is if you change this can you take into account that people sometimes WANT to die normally, even if this means they cannot teleport to a wayshrine or use it in pvp/pve. It grabs the communities attention that there is someone dead in the middle of elden root or auridon

I request, if you happen to change those damage potions, please leave an alternate way to kill yourself out of pvp/pve.

To the community:
if you do see a murder mystery we give out a prize to the first person to solve it. (Last prize was a Dreugh Wax, Good luck)

I'm really pleased I stumbled across this thread. I've encountered dead players in Elden Root before, and I had no idea how anyone managed to die in an area with no hostiles. Now I know how and why.

I suppose /playdead is out of the question? I don't know the specifics of how you go about doing what you do, so please forgive my ignorance.

The idea behind using a real death is someone can see the "+" over your head like you are actually dead. It draws more of a crowd than a /playdead

Yeah, what specifically does a "real" death offer to RPers that /playdead doesn't already?

Ahhh cool. So is Zeni changing it so those won't kill you? Or are you just trying to make sure that never becomes the case. Either way, I support what you're saying.

I do not want to impede on there progress on the game, but if they happen to change the damage potions to be able to apply them to weapons(like the other elder scrolls games), we fear it might lose it's hp draining capabilities.

Or if possible an entirely different item like a trophy that kills you might be helpful (outside of pve/pvp)
