We are the Daggerfall Covenant Guild The Council of Arcanea.

Lore: The council was formed in Daggerfall in 1E 501 after the Direnni had lost most of their Power and reatreated to the Isle of Balfiera. The powerful and wise Breton wizard Geor gathered skilled mages, warriors, crafters and many more and founded the Council the third of Heartfire in 1E 501. His purpose was that every human with a good magic skill should also have a chance to get educated in magic, not just elves. And the threat the Daedra influence poses must be stopped, those who wield Power and skill should use it to help others against threat. However they didn't stay in Daggerfall. They traveled up in the mountains of High Rock and settled there, in 1E 523 the city of Arcanea was built.
It was a proud city made of White stone, however the city wasn't so large, it consisted of around thirty buildings of stone with a large wall of the same White stone that the buildings were of. However in the centre there was a huge citadel, with what the citizens had named "The Great Library". There the council had collected all of their books and artifacts.
For more than a thousand years they tried protected Tamriel from all kinds daedric influence. Arcanea wasn't known to exist by the most, and all potential new apprentices were given an offer to come there, for in its Days of glory Arcanea was one of the centres of knowledge and magic in Tamriel. There were very few places who could offer a good eduaction in magic, but Arcanea was one of them. They grew in strength, they declared war against many cults and clans but in the end, they were all destroyed.
But in 2E 197 they saw the threat of Mannimarco grew, he had not showed the world his full strength yet but the Council tried to stop him while they were able. There were several battles against his cult, but the Council's forces were pushed back and in a dark night in Frostfall in 2E 197, the Worm Cult assaulted Arcanea, the Council's forces tried desperatley to fight of the invading army of undead, led by necromancers, the wizards and warriors of Arcanea were great in power, and the assasins in skill. They were staunch enemies to necromancy and when their and the enemies men fell, they were just raised as undead by the necromancers. They later found out that they had been betrayed by Athar, a Redguard master at conjuration. He had turned to Mannimarco to get Power, in returne he showed the Worm Cult the exact loaction of Arcanea.
Alas so much death was dealt that day, the Council's leaders fell in the last stand in the citadel. Alator Virane was the only one who made it out alive, he destroyed a traitor to Arcanea when trying to help the last alive to escape, but alas they died not far away from the city. All that remained of Arcanea was ruins and the great library, in the final stand the Lorekeepr had sealed it door with his own soul, in addition to that, hundreds of protecting spells had been vowen into the Librarys stone. Wich made it impossible to destroy for the Worm Cult,so they took Everything of use ad destroyed the rest they ould find except the Library ad Everything inside.
Alator made it alone to Daggerfall, he was devastated, he had lost his parents and everyone else. For centuries he held a low profile, he stayed alive thanks to magic he uses to not aging. Now when the war is coming, he gathers all with valor in their hearts, fear enemies for the Council will be restored.
Their purpose is to gather knowledge of the arcane arts, battle techniques, crafting and then share it with those that can afford it and use it to protect the kingdom and Emeric. But also secure dangerus places, things, and eliminate necromancers and daedra.
As Molag Bal and his dark forces draw closer to Nirn, we will try to stand in his way. While we fight on the battlefields of Cyrodiil, we will fight the Daedra were they appear.
We will share our knowledge and skills with eachother, wich will be making us better than many who is not in this Guild, for example the enchanters can provide enchantments, our smiths can provide good weapons and armor. Our wizards can teach spells (if possible). Ofcourse you dont have to share, but if you offer your skills to someone else, you will only gain on it if you work with others, we all will gain on it.
We fully support the Daggerfall Covenant and we will do attacks and raids on the enemy.
It is Three parts off the guild (decription below the inner council).
The inner council is a Group of the highest ranking players of the guild who leads the guild they are the Archmage, The Guardian commander, The Arcanean shadows grandmaster, the lorekeeper and the craftmaster. Masters can also be initiated to the inner council.
The Archmage is the leader of the inner council and is leading the mages but can take Control of the warriors and assasins if needed. you can turn to him if you need any advice. and is the highest ranking mage in the Guild
Gameplay: We will be doing the most of what the game offers, all from taking up the sword of the Daggerfall Covenant in Cyrodiil to teaching new Elder Scrolls fans about the lore in an immersive roleplay.

The arcanean Guardians commander is the leader of the warriors and the Heavy marksmans in the guild and act as the strategic general and
is the highest ranking warrior in the guild.
The arcanean shadows shadows grandmaster is the leader of the assasins and scouts in the guild. The grand master can also order murders on the enemy andis the highest ranking assasin of the guild.
The lorekeeper is the one that organize the books, scrolls and artifacts the guild finds and make the knowledge available for everyone. and is the second highest ranking mage in the guild.
The Craftmaster is the leader of the crafters in the guild. its the craftmaster you talk to if you need something a blade for example.
The blademaster helps the Commander in commanding the troops and is the second highest warrior in the Guild.

The Arcanean Wizards are the magic users of the Guild, they will act as war-wizards for the Covenant in Cyrodiil and do what is needed of them. The wizards support the Guild with their magic and advance in the Arcane arts by studying it.

This is the warriors of the guild they do attacks and raids on the enemy and is protecting the mages on dangerous research places such as old ruins etc. They will be the main force in Cyrodiil, fearless in battle and Always ready in the frontlines.

THE CRAFTERS
They are members from all parts of the guild that will Craft things in the game. The craftmaster is leading them when they Craft things and not out and exploring or fighting.
THE WARLORDS
The warlords are in charge of the PvP, they focus mostly on PvP. While in Cyrodiil they are the ones that are leading the Guild in the war togheter with the inner council.
