Will you ever release the number of the amount of people who played the game from month to month? Will you release how many people dropped their subs after one or two months, or is it too embarrassing?

I would like to see some numbers. How many people are playing at the moment.

And also I want to see how many people have dropped their subs. I think it will be entertaining.

I am also curious to see said numbers. Not the sub drops so much as simply an amount of "current players online" value.

I am more interested in number of players on as well.

Especially in PVP zones.

They won't and they shouldn't have to. They are a private company (hooray!) and even the public ones don't release how many players dropped after first month etc.

If the game was a huge hit, we would see numbers flying all over the place. Since we do not see said numbers it is fairly safe to assume that their goal or target was not met.

If they ever release it, it won't be before the first half of a year or year. For a company to release numbers after only 3months is not typical anyway. Not when it is still in its beginnings.

Or maybe they just have a policy of not disclosing subscription numbers, regardless of whether they are embarrassing or the polar opposite, just like ZOS has officially stated in the past.

For some odd reason it's only people who hate the game who demand numbers. Presumably so they can mock and attack the people who play it by telling them that others also don't like the game, and nobody cool is still playing it.

For some odd reason...companies don't tend to want to give trolls ammunition. Not that it matters, as any number released would be twisted into something bad or disbelieved, and any lack of numbers is proof that the trolls are completely correct about the state of the game.

ZoS doesn't need to post numbers, no matter how many times players ask. There are only 2 reasons for sub numbers to be posted. Outside of these 2 it's only the business of the company, and not it's player base, no matter how much you want to think you have a right to know, you don't.

#1 - Subs are so high that the company uses them to brag (Blizzard anyone).

#2 - Subs are so low that OTHER companies and players use them to shame.

If the numbers were good, you'd already know them -- Blizzard loved sharing their numbers when they had 10-12 million subs.

I disagree.

I like the game despite the flaws (some of which are being addressed, some of which aren't) and probably play too much ie have four Vet characters and two more are rising.

But I'm still curious about the numbers.

Not everybody wants to mock and attack.
