I've seen the video about what they have in store for us, and I must say the ONLY update worthy of our subscription is Craglorn. These future updates contain things that should've been in the game from the start.

I have seen weekly patches, Hot Fixes and on our 2nd Content Patch working towards to the 3rd. The game has been out for 4 months and we are close to 3 major content patchs. ZOS has kept its word.21 -

✭If you're asking for expansions-like updates, you honestly have to be kidding. Everquest's major updates for new zones and levels were around 6 months or more apart. WOW's major expansions were released even years apart. We had craglorn and increase in level cap within 3 months in this game and constant fixes and updates. What else exactly do you want?10 -

I know right, people are getting way to spoiled around here, having extra content every month is already extremely fast. 2 years ago you could expect something like around 6 months, some mmo's took a year to two years before there was an expansion.
That's why i think the majority of the forum aren't mmorpg players.9 -

A lot of these fixes were for things they broke after launch. I agree with OP most of these things should have been there for launch including most of the bug fixes. Player housing should have been in for launch, it's a freaking Elder Scrolls game.6 -

Exactly what in the game currently would you have had them wait on in exchange for them putting in dyes instead?
Fluff stuff like dyes and tabards should ONLY ever be added after release.12 -

I'd like to agree with you but then I remember Rift. The speed Trion put out quality content is quite remarkable for a F2P game.Being First is not the prize, it just mean's everyone can stab you in the back.4 -

I'd like to agree with you but then I remember Rift. The speed Trion put out quality content is quite remarkable for a F2P game.
Yet oddly enough during their first year i remember the complaints from the rift forums. Every patch you do breaks more stuff. Stop adding stuff until you fix what you have already. And most of thier 'quality' updates were, here are some new colored rifts to chase and some new tokens to collect.
Heck rifts first big event crashed the servers.

Food4Thought✭✭✭The only thing I have come across so far that I felt should have been in game at release was jewelcrafting.
I have probably sold more than a few levels of potential deconstructed jewelry simply because I didn't have the inventory space to keep it all.4 -

Yup, that's why i'm sticking around. I'm praying that this is all just teething problems and will settle down soon'ish.

they have said as well Carglorn i believe has 3 parts, this is just the first part. You Still have the imperial city for Cyrodil that was mentioned months ago, the justice system with new skill lines for thieve guild and dark brotherhood and more. Yes we want all of these things NOW, but it takes time. This is the advantage to a subscription type game as you get these things as part of your membership. If this was a F2P each time there is an update you may have to pay something to have it applied.

I totally agree. I am not even mad that it isn't in the game. I understand things will be added with time. That is the point of a Sub based game. You pay money, you get the game, you stick with the game offering CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and hope they will take your words as an idea.
You get rewarded with better and more content by sticking with it. Funny idea this is called an "investment". I know every one wants things now. But simply isn't going to happen.
Good things come to those who wait. So stick it out, be happy they are adding dyes at all. Also if you think you can do it better, or you think it is so easy to add all of this stuff for thousands of players on a massive server* with no issues at all please make the game and I will sub. I promise.
*keep in mind how irritated some people get when it goes down for fixes and updates
Oh and you have to know every detail that every player will want and it has to come out with the game. Or I will not buy it, and if I do I will just *** and *** and *** until you "fix" it.

Well, Zos has equaled the content WoW has put out in the last year within 3 months of launch with more to come.
Go QQ some more.
Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.6 -

Kulthax✭✭✭It is not about content or any of the many things discussed in the past any longer. It is about creating the illusion that things are progressing. We are moving forward. Class balancing has been accomplished in the form of nerfing content and providing you with dyes and tabards.
Everything is fine. Nothing to see here except the pretty lights.
