Why no duplicate maps?

What's the deal? Why did one of the patches make it so you can't have two of the same maps in the same inventory/bank?

Prob cause bots were hoarding them or something... Most asinine changes are due to bots.

Why would they? They sell the maps to the chests.

Because ironically the maps that lead to chests, are mostly found in chests.
