Will we get a free armor deconstruct?

ZOS mentioned previously that any major changes to future skill lines will come with a free respec of that skill line. I love the upcoming changes, but some of the legendary armor I use will no longer fit with my build due to changes made. I consider the changes to armor just as significant, if not more so, than changes to skill lines.
As such, my question is, will something be done for us to "respec" our armor to compensate for these changes? This could range from getting all of our mats back, or a 1 time swap to a different trait of the same research lvl.

Xnemesis✭✭✭✭made a post earlier on this since I have a 5 willow and a 3 whitestrakes sets and I got flamed lol. I do however agree that as long as you are capable of making the set you wish to switch to you should be able to change the armor. Also those who bought pvp gear with AP should get a refund. The only armor I don't see a solution for is the world gear.0 -

Diaboli✭✭✭This has happened before in other games, they didn't give refunds. Its a bummer but it's the nature of the beast.
If it's any consolation, I think it should be refunded. But I am a bit of a carebear about that kind of thing.If I throw a dog a bone, I don't care to know how it tastes... - Brick Top0 -
Fissh✭✭✭✭✭It is a bummer, no doubt. For those of us that have to remake all 8-9 pieces, we are talking x64-72 legendary mats, that is no drop in the bucket.
A very extreme loss to just 'deal with', though I may have to find a way to do such....<X-Raided>0 -

✭✭✭✭✭They aren't going to do that for a few reasons:
1. The changes are only making sets better, and they aren't significantly altering the set bonuses enough that you would need to switch sets.
2. Gear changes/upgrades regularly in an MMO. Having to reinvest time/materials in the new gear is part of the game.----
