Hmm, I wonder what the reasoning was behind moving the July update back till August?

    If it's anything like them actually deciding to test their patches extensively before rolling them out, I'd gladly wait another week or two.

    Oh yeah, I'm not complaining about it, more just being nosey...lol

    I wouldn't be surprised if it was something to do with the latest patch and changes to VR.

    Probably because they spent time fixing the stuff wrong with Craglorn and resolving the FPS/ lag problem in Cyrodiil. Now with that out of the way, they have time to test the newest patch on the PTS.

    What ZOS post are you referring to?

    Whatever they said, given the Road Ahead said the EU server move would be the last week of July or early August on current plans it would make sense to delay the next update till afterwards it seems to me.

    Whatever the reasoning is, I'm excited for the patch nonetheless. I just hope that, considering dyes are unlocked via achievements, players who already have said achievements will automatically get the dyes they've earned. I don't fancy rolling an alt just to get my dyes properly.

    And here's hoping they fix the bound armor issue...

    I peeked into the PTS earlier and saw a lot of new achivements, i really hope we don't get another case of losing all achievement progress, even if it is just the UI.

    I wish I could check out the PTS. I find myself submitting lots of bug reports, so I feel like I could be helpful, but downloading all of this stuff just doesn't fit under a 15 GB per month data cap.

    I tried out the Dye system last night and it is pretty good. The colors are bright and cartoony like they where in the Road Ahead pictures. They are actually subtle and seem to work well with the world. I would hop on PTS and check it out if your interested. The new achievements are for the Dyes. When making a character on PTS make sure you use None for the template though. Also they probably pushed it back because of the problems from last patch, Either the problem pushed back the resources of the team working on it or they want to test it even better this time.

    But if they get on PTS they can play during maintenance times and see whats coming up so they need to get on there. Plus more testers are never a bad thing. So make them get on PTS.

    But if they get on PTS they can play during maintenance times and see whats coming up so they need to get on there. Plus more testers are never a bad thing. So make them get on PTS.
    I'm already on two servers, I'm not devoting any more disk space to ESO.

    They are putting in a ton of changes for a 6 week window I don't mind if they set it back a few weeks to get it right. Plus we just got PvP working again you really want them to break it?

    I am sure it has to do with the VR nerf. While it seems simple to do, I am sure some enhanced coding had to be done, that influenced their timetable for other stuff.
    Also to add the FPS issue´s some players had.

    You have to remember they said new content every 4-6 weeks. Begining of august is within the time frame from the last patch so its fine.

    He can't be, the only mention of August in there is the EU move .. if that's his reference he's simply floating a strawman to try to get a reaction.
