Potency Runes - Why do they only stack up to 20?

When everything else in this game stacks to 100 maximum before making a new stack, Potency Runes are the only items in the game that stack up to 20 before making a new stack. A lot of us create enchanting mules to hold this unnecessary excess because of this low stack; I could easily get another 25 extra inventory space if they stacked like everything else. Was it an old game design when all items used to stack to 20 and you simply forgot to apply the change to Potency Runes?

Chances are you're going to move this into the Crafting forums, which I have posted this same topic before without much luck on a reason as to why. So maybe before you move it you can give us an answer?

    I too am wondering this. It's kind of... odd. Would love to see 100 (or even 200) stacks.

    Of course how could I forget? None of which is considered flaming or trolling. But somehow say "welcome to the club" "What flavour would you like"? And you looking at a warning or ban.

    More of us should ask for this then maybe Zeni will increase the stack to 100.

    In seriousness I have no clue. I don't recall having to clear my inventory as often in the short time I tried WoW as here. 20 does seem pretty low.

    Yes, I think WoW is pretty old design. I think Methuselah played it when he was really young.

    I just spoke to customer service and they are aware of this and it is not correct. They should stack to 100. They said they hope to bring a fix in soon (also said they may not stack automatically and you may have to do it manually for the time being)

    I concur here. I believe, although I cannot quote my source, that update 3 will allow these runes to stack to 100. I remember reading or hearing that somewhere....not sure. Check the PTS notes (1.3.0); I might have read it there.
