Mercenary Mages

Seriously, why the hell do they still exist in this game? We've been trying to cap one last keep for hours to get a guildmate Emp and one person keeps spamming infinite Merc Mages and we can't do it. There 15 of us going up against 1 person, but we can't cap the damn thing because she's exploiting and spawning infinite numbers of these damn things. Zeni didn't you say you got rid of them? Why are they still here? Just delete the code from the game or something!. Get rid of them!!

I'm sorry, but quality of player counts for something. 15 players should be able to handle 20 npc merc mages if there really was just one defender. They aren't able bugged where they can become un-targetable still are they?

Edit: I like being able to put down mercs, I really missed putting down a bunch of melee mercs at a gate or inner pastern so I can watch them rush the enemy the instant the gate or wall goes down.

Edit1: Those merc mages aren't free and don't stack in inventory(?) so there is on;y so much one person can carry. If she was in combat status she couldn't have opened mail either(?).

Dude, not when they're spawning them nonstop. We just capped the keep but it took a long time. These things are supposed to be gone from the game, I don't know I'm still seeing them. Zeni needs to remove them completely.

And yes, they are still getting bugged and becoming untargetable.

I would rather they fix the mages and balance them. They should add in archer mercs too.

I'm not sure, but the way it was explained to me is that this is some kind of exploit so you basically have an unlimited number of them--and it sure seemed like she had an unlmited number. For a large portion of the time we were trying to take that keep we had about 9 people with us, not 15, so she was just hiding on the top of the keep behind an endless army of merc mages, we couldn't even get close enough to her to put her in combat.
