Unrealistic.

Its cool when an extremely rare item stands out as flashy. When every one starts looking like they're wearing tie dye the realistic environment will be gone.

I have different idea.

I'm not sure.. Why is there no uncertainty button?!

I like colors but I just don't know about all this. I think I'd have to actually get a chance to play with it before I make up my mind.

Some of them seem a bit... bright.

They should put dyes but they shouldn't be like cartoon style.

Looks cartoony but at the same time hope it turns out better than what we think. Those where actually supposed to be cartoonish looking but doesn't mean it has to be.

I suppose I was hoping more for "tints" rather than dyes...armor colors coming from natural ingredients rather than manufactured day-glo paint. I just can't quite wrap my mind around seeing Capt. America riding his horse through the main streets of Daggerfall.

Maybe we can see some colors other than brown, green, or brownish green with these. Who knows, you may actually recognize someone when you pass them twice in a zone.

just so EVERYBODY here knows... My orc WILL be dancing at a bank near you in my ALL hot pink armor... well minus the chest piece as I will be shirtless!!!!

I actually asked for some sort of dye system during a feedback form in beta. Ecstatic to see them coming.

Not entirely sure how I feel about the bright colours though. I personally just want some nice silvers and golds for plate and maybe some soft colours for peices of cloth items.

Could turn the saturation down a little.

I have to agree. While the in house competition sounds like it was a blast to partake in, I do not think using those images as a selling point for the upcoming dye system are doing it any favors.

Really hope they leave out bright and cartoony colors. Otherwise possibility to change color of your armor is nice.

Biased poll based on a whopping 5 whole images that's not even remotely encompassing of the volume of different colors we'll have access to. It will always amaze me how Humans jump to conclusions without proper information. ZoS just gave us a teeny tiny example of what you could do with Dyes, that's not enough to go on as to whether any of us will actually like the system they implement.

I suppose its better than nothing, but I'm worried about what I feel to the imminent coming of the wave of hot pink dancers.

Oh well, so long as there exists a more subtle pallete, I'll be ok with it. Unless, of course, the hot pinks and bright purples are too high in population. But that should only be a few people, right?

I think dye well be good for then you at least get matching color on your gear which you can't have now which make the gear combo look stupid.

Unfortunately as many of us (like me) that would hate to see ESO become rainbow brightland, there are probably just as many that think earthy tones are dull and boring. I'm sure there will be people going for blindingly bright to stand out of the crowd and some going for just the right touch of subtlety to get the armor to look just like TES lore or w/e. The more option we have the better overall it'll be, even if those option give players access to neon pink and 5 million candella white.
