All I can say is how can Zenimax justify a single dagger doing almost the same damage as a 2-hand greatsword ! ! !

All they need to do is add a "Battlestaff" skill line.

-It looks like a polearm/spear (makes those of us who want polearm weapons happy)
-It uses magicka and spell stats for it's abilities
-It functions in melee range like a melee weapon

Then they need to add more heavy armor styled costumes so everyone can wear light without looking like they're in a dress.
