Hi all,

the alphabet soup of add-ons and updates is confusing to me, I'd like to keep things as simple as possible. However, I have special needs -

1. Something that tells me how long the armour buff , and separately , the taunt, on Racksack have left to run depending on whether I am solo/tanking. I'd also like something that reminds me how long DoTs/HoTs like Mutagen/Vampire's Bane/Force Syphon have left.

2. A more straightforward request, something that displays health in % terms, so I know when to use Honour the Dead (50% or less) to proc the power return. If it also displays someone's health in number terms, even better, so I know if i'm grouped with someone with low max health and need to watch over them especially carefully.
At the moment I am using War Genesis for this, but it messes with the UI slightly, hiding NPC labels (Cook/Merchant etc) making it hard to find services in a strange town (not those services)

Re: Curse Client

@ and ****, but game updates breaking my addons every week is getting old, do I need this program to automate the process?

You dont wanna use Curse for ESO. Use Minion instead. It uses the largest addon database for ESO and also keeps it up to date.

For buff/debuff tracker, i would suggest Srendarr. The best one out there in my opinion.

GGFrames is great. It has all you need. Alternatives are Foundry Tactical Combat.

    Links:

    Minion : http://minion.mmoui.com/

    Srendarr : http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info396-Srendarr-AuraBuffDebuffTracker.html
    GGFrames : http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info268-ggFrames.html
    Foundry Tactical Combat : http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info28-FoundryTacticalCombat.html

Best is, you search for these addons in Minion and install em through it.

This is what it could look like. Stuff is custimizable to your liking ;)

Personally I use FTC (Foundry Tactical Combat) for both my buff/debuff tracking and combat logging.
Note that Combat Logging is limited to effects you cause.
And Buff tracking is based on abilities you fired and database values, not actuall buff data.
Also NPC are idenfied by (localised) Name only. If you have more then one NPC with the same name in the game, buftrackers have to guess wich one is the one you put your debuff on.

Yea, short buffs and debuffs are "guessed" by the addon. only way to do it in addons in ESO. The API doesnt give out informationeys about that stuff. So the addons have to assume a lot of things..
