The Soul-Meld Mage Quest....help needed

    Gamemasters can teleport you through the rubble if you ask them for help. This is probably why it's not a major issue for them. The problem is that most players don't know that they have this option available to them. I don't know why ZOS haven't told the players experiencing this bug that there are GMs available to get them through the quest.

    I was gonna bug it, then I saw the 'Ask for help' option next to the 'Bug it' button when I opened the help menu. And it specified that if you want immediate answers to your concerns, to use this option. So I did. I got an immediate email from the GM telling me that they were aware of the issue. I asked them for a portal so I can teleport inside and he said by the time they finished placing a portal in there the issue would be fixed. He told me for the meantime just to let them know when I'm doing the quest again so they could help me out. So the next time I logged in, I sent them a message using the 'Ask for help' button again basically saying that the quest was bugged and to send help ASAP and 2-3 min later I got a whisper from the GM.

    Finaly i got done this anoying quest. You need to contact GM and they'll be able to help u :)

    I used the "ask for help" button last night. Within a couple of minutes, a GM arrived and ported several of us through the wall.

    Used the "ask for help" function and just been waiting around for about 20 minutes now with no answer from any GM...

    Finally got a live chat in game from support. They said a GM was going to come and push me through, but I've been sitting here waiting for about 30 minutes now. Super frustrating! :(

    Edit: 11:32am, 2 hours later, I finally got ported through! :) I guess the office may be understaffed for the holiday or something. Either way I'm happy now.

    This has been broken for me for a while. today I had my first ray of hope when someone found a game master to help there were 5 of us and Gamemaster Moon asked us to whisper them and she would move us to the other side of the wall... so I did... they said ok one moment and i watched as the other 4 disappeared one by one and i was left hanging it is very frustrating to know that i just got ignored but the others go to complete the quest...

    Wow, amazing customer support. I took your advice and I have requested in game support. Within 1-2 min I was contacted by a customer agent who helped escalating the ticket to a GM. Not long after, I think up to 10 min, on GM was in the room helping all the players to move further.
    Very professional and very nice support. I am impressed.

    Thank you ZOS and you guys for your advice to contact in game support.

    actually went back and the GM came back and let another set of us through i am very pleased and now hope we can get my boyfriend through soon too

    i was in a group that asked for a gm to come and port us through, it took some time but a very nice person came and let us in.

    Just wanted to say that I made it through the quest with a help of a GM. They never responded to submitting an "ask for help" ticket, but I asked a couple times in /zone chat and got a response. The fix took about 30 seconds for him to port me through.

    Thanks much to the people who suggested that and thanks to the GM who helped me!

    There is currently a GM that will let you through if you just PM them, they will send a message in zone chat constantly to let you know of this.

    I sent a message in zone chat and submitted a ticket. A GM got to me in less than 5 minutes, so I am moving forward again.

    I think the key is to make sure and use the "ask for help" option in game. I did that last night and after about 10m got a message from a GM who summoned me through the rubble.

    I tried this quest earlier on today, and while the entrance was still bugged, there was a GM standing next to it who offered to port people through. Pretty great service, I don't know of many MMOs who would commit someone to manually helping players like that until the quest gets fixed.

    I was just in coldharbour the other day and saw a GM announcing that he's pushing people through, I think it was Saturday evening/Sunday morning.

    Yeah, no need for the GM to push you through anymore. The quest is fixed, and the rubble can now be clicked as intended. as I said above: Bug Fix Confirmed - 7/8/14

    03/08/2016 - This quest is broken again with the Thieves Guild DLC. The "E" doesn't appear and unable to progress with the quest. Almost 2 years later and same bug returns.

    03/09/2015 - This quest bug has returned as of the new DLC "The Thieves Guild". However, the work around is this... Stand next to the icon where the "E" should appear (but doesn't). Then type /stuck. You then click the unstuck button and pay the gold to be unstuck. Never mind that it says it will teleport you to a wayshrine because it won't. It will load for awhile and then teleport you past the rubble into the room. You can then continue on with the quest and complete it.

    oh my god you just saved me from tearing my hair out after trying to figure out how to fit through gaps in the rubble...no E key ever came up, the unstuck thing works!
