The black Maw solo dungeon....how is this solo??

VR 9 ebonheart....I mean seriously there is a 15K hp gargoyle when you walk in!! then another one ....and another one!! Holy CRAP.

    There is another thread stated on this exact situation very recently. It quickly degraded into people telling others to L2P and learn your class & build, then further arguments of what the devs intend people to do in VR as solo vs group, plenty of geniuses stating obvious "VR is supposed to be difficult" comments, additional arguments of what is enjoyable, ultimately ending up with people telling you what you should and shouldn't find enjoyable....

    Best advice I can give you... flag your post and request to have the mods delete it. It's only a matter of very short time before people start insulting you, and a wildfire of arguments sparks off from it.

    But, for the record, I'm with you on this one. I think most of upper VR is ridiculous. The only options you have is to death/ghost run past them, try to sneak in such tight quarters... upon sneak fail revert to ghost run, group up with someone (yes, I know VR9 zones are empty), or double check your abilities to see if you might have missed one that would give you an edge over it (just in case you haven't done that at least five times already). The sad truth.... Those are your only options.

    Are you talking about the quest were you have to beat general Endares?(aka : the Greenjades Butcher?) Because in this case, you have an icy manifestation actualy helping you in that fight, so best advice I can give you, is to actualy sneak past the Gargoyles and freeze them with the manifestation of ice should they start engaging you.

    No if you are DC, EB pact is the last faction - Deshann is vr 8 level (I think it was Deshann) - The Black Maw is a solo dungeon..I have never in my eso life had an issue with a solo dungeon..Or a gargoyle..but there are three in there..all with 15K hp....I got one down..but it was a long fight and I got 2 gold off him...when I met the second one I just ran till he lost combat...lol. Same for the third, he was patrolling so I waited for him to walk by. When I got to the boss it was a piece of cake. But I was kind of shocked at three gargoyles and how tough they were...I mean I soloed Menhier Stoneskin at Valen Watchtower at vr 4 - he was a world boss Gargoyle and had 24K hp...granted I had A LOT more room to move in but dang! lol.

    Yeah that gargoyle is a gigantic pain. I tried to sneak past him but it didn't work. There is not enough room to get around him undetected and there is another mob right past him. Your best option is to just run out of line of sight. He will still follow and maybe turn you to stone but then he will leave or disappear. I didn't get any loot from anything in there cause I was too high level apparently but there are couple of chests in there and the sky shard of course.

    Go in naked, stand in front of it and laugh in its face.
    Then walk past him as ghost, resurrect deeper inside and continue playing normally.
