Something seriously wrong with quest XP...

I've been doing quests in V7 and V8 zones for the last few days and I've noticed the EXP they are giving is really erratic.
Simple side quests are sometimes giving as much as 106K exp, and sometimes they give 12K exp.
Main story quests that take over an hour to complete are giving 12K exp as well.
What gives?

✭✭✭✭✭Quest XP varies based on the significance/difficulty of the quest. Main story quests (for the faction) will give lots of XP at the end of the chain, but the steps along the way tend to not award as much.
Suffice it to say: 1 VR zone of XP is worth about one VR level. The XP is tuned just fine.----

Yes, but the work involved in some of those quests merited more than 8K or 12K exp. It seems like they are giving out less exp than they used to, but I can't prove it because I don't have a log of what they used to give out.
Just the quests that have you travel from one area to another to start the next part of a quest give 8K though. ✭there is also some quest that shows wrong if you level up turning in a quest it looks like you get huge xp, dont know why it does that0 -

Yea, I noticed that too, thought it was one of my addons going screwy. It says they are giving you 60-70K exp, but they are really giving you 12K.
One addon that works is Loot Drop, it calculates the EXP gain correctly.

Armianlee✭✭✭I've had a couple that have given NO XP today. Not sure if there is a bug or what but my progress bar hasn't moved even though I've finished 2 story line and 4 side quests.
Basic circle of complaints on ESO Forums:
1) Users: Fix game/class/bug
2) Zenimax Online: Brings servers down and fixes issues and deploys patches.
3) Users: OMG SERVERS ARE DOWN!!!!!
4) Zenimax Online: Brings servers back up!
5) See 1)

I use wykkyds framework and the XP reporter often shows me getting values all over the show. none of which relate to any VP points I get for things.1
