I'm wondering exactly what things can break stealth (by which I mean Shadowy Disguise). For instance, I know that I'll break my own stealth if I successfully attack. However, do ticks from DoTs break my stealth? Or, will the enemy break my stealth if they hit me?

The reason I ask is because I've noticed that I seem to pop out of stealth a split second after entering it a bit too often. The only issue that I've found that makes sense is one of timing with using the bow. Apparently, if you shoot your bow, then stealth while it's still flying through the air, it'll hit your target after you stealth and break your stealth. However, this doesn't explain what's going on the majority of the time that I end up losing stealth early.
