Strife/Swallow Soul ,bug?

I had this issue only few times before the last patch, but know it happens 70% times.
The 25% health give back of swallow soul is not working properly ,it's like 4% now and it happens both in pvp and pve , look at this screenshoot :

If you hit someone with swallow soul while they are blocking, you get the blocked damage HOT. Other than that, I haven't noticed a problem.

Have u seen the screenshot? the hot is based on the damage inflicted, and u can see that i hit the mob for 232, now the 25% of 232 it's not 8 ....
Anyway it happens even with stealth attack from behind and no block.

Try this, go stealth and attack with swallow soul from behind before of any other attack and tell me what happens,and let me know pls, i hope i m not the only bugged.

I have been having this same issue. After some testing I found that this is caused by swallow soul triggering a set bonus which does damage. When this occurs the healing portion of swallow soul halls for 25% of the set bonuses damage and not that of swallow soul itself. I confirmed this by using FTC and taking of my Viper's Sting had piece.

I hope this helps. Also, I just submitted a ticket for this issue.

Yes, thanks for the help, i ve changed my sets with crafted one and now it seems to work properly.

I have been having this issue as well but I am not using a set bonus. Is there anything else that might cause this to happen?

I've seen this happen as well, I thought it was because I'd just managed to not deal much damage somehow but could never see why.

Yes , it happens again to me sometimes, expecially when sipho strikes is toggled on. Idk really what it should be. Before it was the dot proc on my viper set that i removed.

It happens to me more often than not, no matter what else I have on my bar, it's becoming quite annoying...

it happens to me too...quite annoying bug. I do not have any dmg procs from my gear.

I up this thread , because seems like that the old bug is back, strife and morphs hot, sometimes heals for 1% of dmg done instead of 28%, pls check it.
