Crafted sets loot drop

Well I was looking through a bunch of treasure chests and I found a loot drop for a set that is usually have to craft to get. Like the eyes of mara which is usually found by crafting at the station on an island after the mages guild quest line. So I want to get a discussion to see if these sets have different variations. Example I found a hood for the eyes of mara is there going to version of it for medium armor or heavy armor.

mndfreeze✭✭✭Screenshots plz? I've never heard of anyone finding set pieces as loot that are craftable sets, because that goes against what ZOS says is their main reason for seperating the two....

mndfreeze✭✭✭The oblivions edge set is not the same as oblivions foe. As far as the mara set, cool, I've never heard of it happening before.0

AngryWolf✭✭✭I get drops like that all the time too. Like a Seducer set, Nikalas set etc. I don't think they are the same as what you can craft at the special crafting areas and it can quite take awhile to get the complete set in drops usually you need to buy a piece or two to complete the set.0 -

KariTR✭✭✭✭✭Perhaps they were put in to help make up a set - it would certainly be interesting to see if they count.
But with no trait, they will be inferior to the crafted piece...assuming the set bonus is even the same.0
