Set Bonus Stacking - Question

Hey guys, I have a quick question that hopefully someone can answer for me (and maybe has been answered before, though I couldn't find anything).

The "Vampire's Kiss" 3-set bonus is listed as:
"Killing an opponent increases your health regeneration by 50% for 8 seconds"

The "Orgnum's Scales" 5-set bonus is listed as:
"If below 50% Health, increase health regeneration by 50%"

I'm wondering if these two effects stack, effectively giving you double health regen when you kill an enemy while under 50% health. This would be a pretty interesting combo to try out for survive-ability, not to mention the added health from the Orgnum's Scales 3-set bonus.

Well since "If below 50% Health, increase health regeneration by 50%" means if your health is below 50% ..... NO. But, if you kill someone/something while your health is below 50% yes, kinda because you will for sure be over the softcap for health regen.

They are 2 diff sets so they should work. Pretty easy to test it out... equip both, go to a low lvl enemy, let him bring you to low health then kill him and check you char stats to see how much hp regen you get. I think you are gonna overcharge it with both sets.

I am still 16 days away to be able to make a 5 set Orgnum's.
But why use Vampire to gain 27 regen on kill when you can have an always 21 with Song of Lame

I did use the Lamae set for awhile but I was always over the reg soft cap. Put Vamp Kiss and Willow Path on two of my alts and ..wow. Last night one L43 alt killed Mannimarco, finished the Mages guild quest, retook Dune in Reaper's March, finished the Fighter's Guild quests, and did the last two dungeons in the area. Took about 4 hours and I think he died twice.

See, I was under the impression that effects didn't get limited by caps. For example if a set bonus was a passive, say "Add 14 Health Recovery" then it would be limited by the cap, but an active effect, such as "Gain 50% health regeneration for 8 seconds," was not limited by the cap.

Am I to understand that both passive and active effect set bonuses are limited by the caps in the same manner? If so, I may have to rethink some of my set combo plans, haha.

You'll have to talk to somebody who has actually done research on numbers and the actual effects. When my stat sheet shows that I have a over-charge situation I try to bring it down. The Lamae set is a constant buff so it my regen was always showing in the orange. The Vamp Kiss may go over over soft cap but I know it works in the middle of a battle and that's all I care about.

Interesting. If anyone has anymore information on this I'd love to find out, as I'm still a little bit away from being able to 5-set Ognum's.

Until then I'm thinking perhaps a 3/3/3 with Lamae/Vamp/Twilight for 21 Health Regen, 14 Stam Regen, and 10% additional healing (Siphoning NB here).

I'm in soft cap for health regeneration and use Vampire's Kiss and can see a very noticeable increase in regeneration. Don't have an add on for the numbers but based on the effects I think Vampire's Kiss ignores soft cap

I Just made 5 piece willow and song of lamae ... works great. Since its usually daytime the willow perks too.
