The Man editing posts to suit them selves.

To avoid having my thread closed i have to use certain vernaculars to get my point across.
"The man" in terms of ESO is deleting, editing and changing posts to suit them selves.
"The man" also doesn't want you posting negative feedback regardless of how constructive it is, because they are trying to mitigate the spread of negative views about ESO to ensure they don't suffer the same fate as other MMO's.

"The man" clearly doesn't care about us TES fans, and personally, i think they're genuinely worried about the future of this game.

Now i'm not saying that the game doesn't currently have a thriving community, but i am saying that the way in which "The man" is handling the feedback is completely, and utterly wrong.

Sort your game out... man.

    Pfft, doesn't everything?
"The Man" doesn't differentiate between toxic and non-toxic feedback.
they just delete anything that makes them look bad.

There are plenty of constructive "negative" feedback posts here on the forums, which have never been changed. In fact, due to such feedback changes have occurred or are occurring, most recently the upcoming vet difficulty nerf. There are enough people here that post constructive negative feedback on a daily basis and their threads stay in the top 20 for quite sometime. There really isn't any dark agenda to only allow sunshine and butterflies on the forums, if that was the case we would have very few threads and a lot of banned members.

The threads you posted weren't wholly constructive, though they were negative. Your first post was a quitting thread, which is against the FCoC on this and almost every MMO forum I've been on. While the second seemed more like troll/flame bait, while also complaining about the actions taken against you, again something that is against the FCoC on all MMOs.

Basic circle of complaints on ESO Forums:
    1) Users: Fix game/class/bug
    2) Zenimax Online: Brings servers down and fixes issues and deploys patches.
    3) Users: OMG SERVERS ARE DOWN!!!!!
    4) Zenimax Online: Brings servers back up!
    5) See 1)

VR10 Sword and Board Templar (Heavy Armour), Ebonheart Pact
    LVL 25 Sorcerer, Daggerfall Covenant
    LVL 28 DK, Ebonheart Pact
    LVL 15 Nightblade, Altmari Dominion

People can review, spit on, and outright throw crap on your company everywhere on the internet. A forum is basically a safe haven for Game developers to get feedback, chat with players, and sometimes troll the playerbase with a fake account to get a "feel" for how people feel about the game.

getting upset that "the man" is trying to keep the one place on the internet they have control of positive and constructive... just go to mmorpg.com, or youtube, and bash Zenimax Inc to your hearts content. I like to bash Zen as much as the next for blundering mistakes, but if you get too emotional or venomous, than you are no longer a member of the forum, but a saboteur.

The OP is making accusation about Zen implying they are re-writing other peoples posts to create a false narrative. That violates the posting rules.

If what you are saying were true, these would be mostly empty forums.

I'm not psychic or anything but I see this post getting closed soon.

This isn't a public forum. It belongs to Zenimax and really they can do whatever they want with it.

I've seen many a post ninjaed on here but they're almost all due to profanity, racism, sexism, blatant trolling, or personal attacks. They've been very good about leaving negative feedback posts up overall.

Non-constructive quit threads don't really have a purpose unless someone goes through their reasoning ("Wildstar better this game suxx" is not constructive.)

    Agreed.

It is hard to negate emotion in the face of perceived oppression. You must understand though that this is a company and these are their forums. You must play by their rules or you do not get to play at all. If you want to express yourself in a place where like minded individuals will commiserate with you, there are plenty of places for that. Google can be your friend in instances such as this and you can retain your privilege to post here and play the game.

It really has nothing to do with "the Man". Both of your posts were "I'm quitting because there is nothing to do" posts. Nothing constructive and nothing that others haven't said before. I'm not trying to be mean here but quite honestly the game is about questing. If you don't like to quest this probably isn't the game for you. If you feel it is not worth your money it would be foolish to keep paying. Take a break for a few months and see what changes are made. If they seem interesting you can always come back.
