TESO is a blast with a thriving community!

I salute to you sir! About time we get another positive thread.
This game has an excellent leveling experience so far. PvP, even to the lower leveled players, is a blast when they join a random group. Crafting system is a marvel. And the perk system! Pure poetry.

And as for the small things; the notes littered here and there, the books that I can read...all are quite fun and prove to be a breath of fresh air when I actually bother to read them. But I especially love the little fact about how hirelings tell of their misadventures to me in the mail! An imp stuck in manure that set aflame. Being run out of town for being suspected of spreading the plague...
They are small things, but good things none the less.

I have not read every post.

Would warn the positive players that they will be baited, flagged & deleted if they are not careful to comply precisely with the rules. Haters rule this forum.

But the game is good - PvP is fun and very active, the later VR levels have come alive in the last couple of weeks. Overall there is absurd amounts of content when you add quests, dolmens, dungeons (solo, group, public & veteran), skyshards, crafting, skills & all the other bits and pieces.

There are many positives about this game. All of us see them and, certainly, the potential. Unfortunately the OP is undermined by being stacked with blatant untruths about thriving community and overflowing VR zones etc.

That's just utter nonsense. I thought it was a troll. Maybe it is.

Whilst those hit hard by gamestopping bugs will inevitably be too peeved to make glowing posts about the game these are just as bad. I've seen a few objective ones which I tip my hat to. Very few.

Straw-man much? You whole post is one big straw-man. I never said there was an overflowing and as far as a thriving community there is more than enough activity to make that a debatable point, hardly a proven truth.

Straw blah. Look up the definition.

The thread is entitled "Teso is a blast with a thriving community" which is stated as though fact. That's a nonsense of course and the entire OP that followed was in a similar vein. The points you made could certainly be taken to imply there is an overflowing, thriving community (half of that is explicit). It's hardly a strawman argument if your fanboy post is so outrageously constructed and over the top that a rational reader would take that away with them.

Words like "plenty", "thriving" and stating that you don't even have to ask for help usually because there are always groups about doing content etc etc. Anyone who regularly plays the game knows this is simply untrue. Your exuberance doesn't just hint at the conclusions I made it kicks a rational reader in that direction with a size 12 to the rear. Strawman lol.

I'm still not sure it's not a troll. Well done if so. If not.. jeezus son, get your hand off it a little hey?

"Teso is a blast with a thriving community"
personal opinion with a touch of debatable observation NOT as you put it stated fact.

You used words such as overflowing describing things in my post I never stated. That my good sir is the essence of a straw-man, you then went on to debunk what you attributed to me which i never stated which is the very definition of a straw-man argument.

"if your fanboy post " is one of the most basic ad hominem arguments used in forum communications and used by you in your post.

All you continue to add to this thread is vitriol, and logical fallacies, you sir are making yourself out to be a sophist of the highest order.

"jeezus son" LMAO you will need quite a few years on this earth to be old enough to call me son, maybe you are and if so your posts do not show it.

I am not being sarcastic. I mean every word. How are people thinking I was not being serious?

The game is beautiful. The quests are engaging. The crafting is simplistic and intuitive and very rewarding. The music is phenomenal. I could go on. :)

I cant believe you actually typed all those lies to make this game look good. You win fanboi of the week.

Ragnar, don't you have anything else to do? Your poison pill act is funny, I must admit.

great to see someone having a blast with the game. Im enjoying myself in my long slow climb with one main character. Im actually looking forward to starting over again in a new faction. different playstyles rock. my sis adores this game but still hasnt gotten a char over lvl 20, her fun is creating new alts, choosing back stories, playing with the diff classes... then deleting them and starting over again. hah her pure enjoyment as she goes exploring in game is truly fun to share

I'm not seeing it. The 3 guilds I'm in went from 40+ online at a time to barely breaking 10+ online. Using the grouping tool it went from 5 minutes to get a full group together to 30+ minutes. The amount of zone chat has gone from scrolling faster than I can read it to not moving to 10 minutes at a time. This game is dying population wise.

I am happy to see a positive post (even if I haven't seen what you have).

I am currently taking a bit of a break because i began to get bored. Unlike many people I didn't start playing with anyone I knew and wanted to meet people and team up as we went. Well, everyone I met 1-50 stopped logging in:( I joined multiple guilds but chat is really quiet in the PvE/PvP ones and pretty random in the trade ones (but at least there is chat!).

I wasn't trying to race to VR10 (now VR12) but I am a completionist. I loved the 1-50 story, listened to every person talk (I love catching the random bad guy convos you can overhear before you engage them) and really loved the lore. At VR5 now things feel a bit 'off'. I love that we can do other alliance zones but seeing as we already stopped the big bad guys...some of it feels disconnected to me; but I did play A LOT in a short time and my expectations for the social atmosphere were very high - this probably just needs time to grow and I need to find a guild I fit into.

There is nothing really "wrong" with the game, there are things I would have done differently/would change now that I have played it. Things that would improve the social setting and overall feel of the world. (personally I feel like 5 guilds takes away from the team feel of being in only 1; and I prefer it by toon rather than by account and that guild stores have been rather blah)

One of my biggest current peeves in the vet dungeons. I successfully ran all the normal ones with random groups and had a blast. After my third run in Spindle and killing no real boss (just that vampire thing at the start) and having died a lot and group gives up - not really knowing why we failed so badly - I decided to try them again at VR5 - which I haven't done yet but will when I return.

I really want to see this game succeed. I love the ES world. Have 1400 hours in Skyrim because I keep going back to it and playing it a different way.
