Do you ever have any positive comments? Im sure the issue will take a while to fix as well but every comment i see you make is negative. Enjoy life more and troll less.

Maybe if the devs did something positive I could react positively. But they dont fix what they say they do.

You know as you are obviously a computer programmer and since ZoS is hiring you should send them a resume. I'm sure they'd love to hear all the exciting ideas you have in store for them on exactly how to fix everything with the game and how you'll do it all before the weekend is over. I for one am glad to know we have such competent players that moonlight as programmers and are willing to help out the most likely completely overwhelmed staff at ZoS right now, bravo to you sir.

I dislike most of Ragnar's posts tbh. But I disagree with you, you don't have to be a programmer to realize they are screwing up a bit. Just like you don't have to be a cook to comment on food or a writer to know a book is terribly written or an actor to know bad acting.

    edited for bad english! =)

Why? Simple, their devs all likely have 3-4-5 day weekends lined up.

    Proof or GTFO.

the fix is actually schedule for next monday... so he was right. Staff were posting they'll try to push it sooner though.

I was more talking about the 5 day weekends...

well... They found the problem, but it'll take till monday to fix it. So is it that hard to believe our beloved devs are taking a long weekend?
LOL they arent going to fix it this time either. The devs are worthless.

Well they aren't totally useless. The mess they have made with ESO creates jobs for other devs to come in and clean up

They need to make som serious improvement about the lag, I've turned down all to minimum and run with 2-5 FPS and I used to run with at least 35-50 in the sort of battles I am doing now.

Just to clarify. Lag and low FPS are not typically associated terms. Lag is more typically in reference to communication between the client and server with the negative connotation of excessive time gaps without data...or lag. FPS issues are almost always associated with client based issues that can range from poor system performance due to aged hardware to severely poor optimization in the client application. Just wanted to make sure you're on the same page, at least in terminology.

To the thread, I guess I understand the frustration as I have seen a significant degradation in performance on the current build under certain situations. But I don't have expectations for anyone working in the US to work tomorrow...but many will. I also don't assume that ZOS developers work 9-5 M-F. Will they have an extended weekend? Doubtful. I have worked with a few former commercial and game developers and this doesn't fit the description they provided...it sounded like balls to the wall development with constant personal sacrifice to ever impending schedule milestones.

To me, it's a game. I be grateful when they have resolved the issue or at least improve on performance...but it doesn't completely destroy my game experience. I will note that I haven't been PvPing since Beta...I'm just I would have more of an issue in PvP with my 4 year old rig with the current build.

Management people who can't do the jobs of their subordinates when it is necessary is a sign of a poorly designed development environment. An MBA does not make someone good at decision making unless they actually understand, in depth, the nuts and bolts of the product. I think this is the situation we are seeing, and hopefully they restructure so they can make informed decisions in the future. Put a programmer in charge of making the final decisions about what to implement at what times based on actual analysis, and major blunders like this will probably be avoided.

As much as I would like to scream at the developers to work all weekend because I seriously miss Cyrodil, it is really the people who made the decision about the last patch that should be working all weekend...but chances are, they literally could not fix any of the code.

Dunno why so many people assume they have a long weekend. Last I checked, the devs aren't government or civil-service employees who get the day off.

Pointless thread followed up with this.

This just aint true, they have fixed stuff.
Perhaps some fixes went wrong and some fixes even broke things, but they have fixed the game as best they can so far.

    Your negative posts are boring.

Btw , my game is fine, even been to cyrodil for some pvp haha:)

This is the last of the mentioned:

We're continuing to work on the issue causing FPS drops and general game unresponsiveness. We've identified a handful of issues with ability PFX, and a potential memory leak cause. We have fixes we're working on for all of them now. The details some of you have provided have helped. Thank you.

We apologize for the frustration this issue has caused. We want you to know we're still here, and still working on it. We know that an update of "We're still working on it" with very few new details is disappointing, but that is what we can offer right now. We'll continue to provide you updates.

We're aiming for Monday for the next patch, but if we are able to push any fixes sooner we will.

I doubt they will get it out on or before monday. No one with a real job works this weekend.

I'd like to think that given the mess that the game is in that the devs are going to be working right through what might otherwise have been a long weekend (inc 4th July).

If not then I'm even more skeptical that they'll be a real fix on Monday.

No one with a 9-5er would stand working on the weekend of the 4th, theyd have a revolt.

First pushing out content patches before game is stable is stupid.

Second cyrodill is not a priority for them clearly..otherwise to would be fixed. And they stated the rpg aspect is their first goal.

The great system that is cyrodill pvp will continue to be crap as long as they continue to push out crap patches fail to address imbalances like stamina builds and prioritize pvp last.

Sadly when it is time to fix it a lot of pvp players will have been turned off.

Enjoy your 4th of July to those that are in the US. I know I will.

Anyway, cancelled sub and so have most of my friends done.
Got 5 days left of the sub and if it isn't soved until 8th I have to say bye bye to the game for now.
I am a big fan of Elder Scrolls series, but I've had enough of the low FPS for now.
