No NA Maintenance?

Does it mean there will be no NA maintenance? Since there is no maintenance post.
Or has ZOS not bothered to post anything? They need to keep us updated. Post if there is going to be maintenance or not at least 12 hours before usual maintenance time and not an hour after it starts. ZOS needs to be more consistant, oh wait they are as in never let us know what is happening.

I really can't see them doing any significant changes/patches with the long holiday coming up. Not sure paying people double time is in their budget right now.

Its just a reset though, no patches or anything.. Those are done on Mondays. So it will be officially 2 weeks of this FPS garbage that we have had to deal with.

the weekly maintenance on mon and thurs should be expected. Its a regularly scheduled maintenance and therefore doesn't need a special announcement.

I'll admit I don't know much about those big servers and all, but does it really take...what, 4 hours on average?...to simply reset those? I imagine it may be more complicated than flippin on-off switch but 4 hours?

ah - given that they've said it may not always be needed and they will confirm a day before - the one hour notice is a bit of a joke - but not entirely unexpected from this company.

The only time there really needs to be an announcement is in the event that they decide not to perform the maintenance. Not that it really matters either way though, since in about 35 minutes when the servers go down, this forum is about to get hit with a bunch of rants about downtime regardless whether they announce it or not. Despite it being common knowledge that it happens every Mon/Thurs.

Given that their twice weekly maintenance falls in some people's prime time playing, it would be nice if they could honour their statement and confirm maintenance the day before, or announce that it won't be happening. The only thing more annoying than this is the endless posts from people like those above claiming that its not an issue and we should all just suck it up.

Maintenance happens at 8pm my time, so since I had not seen any notice I thought it might not be going down so thought I had time to do other things and I come back half an hour before maintence and see a notice now. Geez talk about slack and late posting. So the only thing ZOS can guarantee is never giving us notice.

Edit: Usually on maintenance days I see a notice on facebook by at least 9am my time saying there is maintenance so I got confused as there was absolutely nothing listed anywhere.

Maintenance is ongoing right now.

Tip for devs: wait a couple of hours before EU maintenance, and if the forums light up with another set of broken features, let us skip this one out :disagree:
